But my banker (Axis Bank) refused to send the money to Interactive Broker for investment. They told me that money can be transferred for education and health purposes only. Sir a large portion of the monthly subscrition of New / National Pension Scheme is going into Equity. As the scheme covers central and state Government employees who joined service from Jan 2004 onwards, i think these contributions must be a significant portion of the liquidity flow into the market.

Sir this government has not increased salaries for years especially PSUs to keep up with inflation. In fact many places new recruitment virtually stopped through proper channel. Everywhere from top to bottom contract employees receiving even lower salaries. People making additional income from other additional sources.
I guess Stocks like Hdfc;bajaj finance were in the hand of FII so there r not giving expected returns...but Stocks which r in the hand of Dii& retail investr are giving much higher returns now a days...As Fii selling day by day and Dii are buying in that aspect...So the conclusion is Indian mkt. Should I wait until the upcoming rebalancing that you mentioned? Additionally, I'm curious why rebalancing is being recommended so frequently. If the stocks we're holding are strong, frequent rebalancing could lead to short-term capital gains taxes.
