I went 12 wins with a generic spell hunter. Lost only to other spell hunters, but the added flares did a lot of good, especially when cast off Zul Jin a second time.

the "otk" does 50 damage at most, he destroyed at least 30 armor while at full health, which is 60+ total...

I'm having a lot of fun with this expansion, more so than the last at least. I think it may have something to do with the fact that they didn't really try to create too many new archetypes and instead focused on giving us a lot of high synergy/high value cards for decks that already existed. I feel like this is the right way to go about it. There is a bit less discovery, but it at least gives us more direction with our builds. My best deck in standard right now is an insane Deathratttle/Quest Priest deck. The new Séance spell just gives that deck so much value potential.

because the problem with shudderwock wasn't the otk aspect but the long wait once you effectively lost, which you don't have with this deck here. OTKs are totally fine in hearthstone, there are possibilities to prevent it, so it's balanced.

Consider the possibility: Find a way to put Zola in this deck for double win condition Paladin. If the Holy Wrath OTK works in the matchup then you use that, but if you're playing against a Warrior or Druid or need to use Shirvallah to stay alive you can use the bankers on death knights and win that way.

I really like this deck but I have some questions about composition. I have Thalnos but was thinking about subbing for Acolyte of Pain for faster draws. I don't have the Uther DK or Lynessa and instead, have Truesilver x2. Are those cards worth crafting for this?

The hardest part about playing this deck is keeping your hand size down, as a huge portion of the cards replace themselves. Whenever you play stonehill defender you should be picking the lowest cost taunt if it's not completely awful because their only purpose is to delay and get out of your hand asap.

I went for almost the exact same deck the day they released the brawliseum and lost 0-3 to Aggro locks all the way. I play this deck on ladder and I don’t make mistake with it. It s triggering to see you facing completely different opponent 3 days after. Also I don’t think I ve lost more than one or two games against hunter since the release of the expansion with the zookadin.

@@TechPriestFred In my experience there is a lot of damage mitigation and control. But the deck needs to get through its cards. This deck almost requires no cards left to achieve its victory condition. I think testing would show acolyte to have a higher win%
