The grammatically correct way of phrasing this in British English is "We apologise _for interrupting_ ", or "We apologise for this interruption". However the most likely scenario with the BBC would be an absolute lack of apology: "We interrupt our regularly scheduled programming....."

this isn’t really a scenario. The second coming is approaching. It could be before the year 2030 it could be this year could even be now we’re not sure no one is sure but all those Christians know myself included. This is happening soon and we must repent if we don’t want to be left behind to burn in agony, but when it does happen my only question is are we ready for it because we need to be ready for it
