I thought this video was a rip-off of an earlier release elsewhere on RU-vid. Then I realised this one doesn't have the chimes overriding the music at the end.
"Arthur" specifically refers to a King Arthur song that was used by the BBC for their election coverage in 1979. Variations of it have been used on-and-off ever since then.
@@jeptioakThe original “Arthur” theme is from Rick Wakeman’s 1975 album “The Myths and Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table”. The BBC were pretty quick picking it as their election theme in 1979 and appropriate too, as the prologue (never heard on the tv themes) says “whoso pulleth out this sword from this stone and anvil is the trueborn king of all Britain”!
