BBC Panorama: London Under Attack (the show that predicted 7/7)

It wasn't a prediction. We were being told what was going to happen and very subtly who they wanted us to believe the perpetrators would be.

Didn't predict it - it was predictive programming to those who watched it. My partner was caught up in the real event on 7/7 and was traumatised by it.

Peter Power and Visor Consultants knew too.

Now that is a very good question and one which I have been considering myself. There are two possible questions one should ask regarding this point: 1: If the 7/7 terrorists used this Panorama program as a template for their attack, why did the authorities not pick up on this point whilst the attack was ongoing? 2: Considering the Panorama program had aired a year previously, why would the 7/7 terrorists risk employing a plan that was already in the public domain?

In my opinion, I think the shock we feel when hearing this was already predicted is greatly exaggerated by the fact it did happen! So many things are predicted, yet don't happen, so of course this would seem overly curious! However, of course, I don't necessarily think it was an inside job, but possibly a 'managed' program helped the Government benefit.
