She will be. She tore her thumbnail off inh a freak accident 3 weeks ago & had to have emergency surgery on it (you could see on a close-up how heavily strapped up it was), so she'd done very little training in the last few weeks. She'd been connecting all of the skills in training up to them, and had also been working on upgrading the Pak to a Bhardwaj (Pak full twist), which would give her another 0.3D, but with the injury decided not to do these.
She posted on social media after that she was really happy with the outcome. She said she could have played it safe and probably medaled, but playing it safe won't get her an Olympic medal, and she needed to debut her riskiest, 6.8 routine, so that's what she did. I love the maturity of an experienced gymnast! She's going for it, and has her eye on the prize, not on individual meets along the way.
@@heatherkring8358 Both sisters were dumped as they spoke out about the bullying. But she went crawling back. She SHOULD have grown a set of balls & KEPT exposing them & refused to compete for GB again.
I would just like to say how much I enjoy these commentators as well as the competition. They are so supportive and unbiased unlike some of the American commentators. And yes I am American.
@@Zuranthiumi thought the same too, til i found out rewatching the 2021 worlds tapes that she (very lightly) touched the low bar in the transition from low to high 😢
@@lorybianchi2859 I thought they changed the rules so that you can brush the bar and its no deduction unless its significant or ruins the flow of the routine?
@@Zuranthium I don't think she should have won today. D'Amato was very clean, Iorio had a few more leg breaks, nothing major but the 0.2 E difference is right
There's hope here's the answer. God so loved the world He gave His son Jesus that whoever believes will have everlasting life. John 3:16 Jesus died for you believe & repent.
