Seems like a life time so long long ago!!!!!. This was aired 3 dsys before my 10th Birthday and now im the ripe old age of 50!!!!!!!. Where the hell did the time go???.

I remember that drama, Claire. Does anyone know if it’s still available anywhere. People watching in 2022 will mark 8th September 1982 as exactly 40 years before the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

6:09 - WOW! 11.58pm closedown. That is early! In 1982 in the US, for example on NBC, Johnny Carson's Tonight Show was on the air from 11.30pm-12.30am followed by Late Night with David Letterman until 1.30am. NBC News overnight would then air until 2.30am when most NBC stations would "sign off" or closedown until 6.00am. Different world in 1982 between US and UK TV.
