I was 14! remember recording Flash Gordon on VHS. So many good memories. Watching all of these Christmas TV video's on RU-vid, like many other people just reminds me of better days gone by. Family members we have all lost, but for a few moments we're transported back in that living room, gas fire on, Mum and Dad off work, sisters and brothers getting all excited for the big day and us all watching the TV together.

Could watch these all day. Funny, watching Flash Gordon on TV at my grandma’s house is one of my first tv memories, since I went there every Christmas it is almost certain this must be the day

Yes I can relate to that I'd just turned 18 and there wasn't a lot of work around---‐--I was aspiring to be a professional racing cyclist at the time though so perhaps slightly Rose tinted specs view on this period but on balance with the music of the time not too bad 😊
