It's rare seeing the original 1966 version of The Grinch has aired in the UK. It would've been more surprising if the BBC also aired the 1969 ''Frosty the Snowman'' just to fool Channel 4 for ''The Snowman.''
I know the 1966 Grinch aired on Boomerang UK as well, but I think that and BBC One are the only UK networks I’ve seen air this movie. The 2000 Grinch has aired on Channel 4, E4, Film4, ITV, ITV1 (same channel as ITV, different name) and ITV2, as well as on NOW (streaming, not the channel) through Hayu. The 2018 Grinch has aired on ITV, ITV1 (once again same channel, different name) and ITV2.
