Samuka was born and raised in Brasilia, Brazil. At the age of 14, he was diagnosed with cancer in his right leg, which had to be amputated.
Samuka's dream was to be a professional soccer player, but after his amputation, he got introduced to breaking and hip-hop. His energetic and dynamic way of moving, mixed with his creative ability to adjust movement with one leg gained him international recognition.
Dance has transformed his life and in less than eight years Samuka has toured over 20-countries, appeared in several films, music videos, and TV shows.
