So much originality big love to storm amazing bboy so much style and foundation in one video.i love these old school bboys like storm, ken swift, poe one, remind and more because they have that fresh style that can smoke every bboy out there
Storm is, in my opinion the Scholar of the BBoy world. I cant think of anyone who is more systematized in his moves. It just seems like the guy doesnt run out of moves
This is where Megus, Thunder, Easy Rock, Bounce and a lot more got their whole style from straight up. Nothing is new under the sun, Storm is forever original. A real living legend.
windmills is in incorrect description, the original term is continuous backspin, from an original bboy of 20 years. Bboy shadow. Storm is legendary, forget the koreans and russians this boy can dance.
The track is: Herbie Hancock - Ready Or Not Storm was and still is my favourite style master. I haven't danced in a very long time, and these new kids have unbelievable power moves, but never forget, you gotta know how to dance if you wanna be truly good.
This is real dope,Storms style, transition, execution every damn thing is on point....The bboy at 6:12 in the background with the blue/purple shirt reminds me of bboy Physicx ...
I dont think anyone can find a copy of the tape for sale these days youre gonna have to ask the vets around town if they got it. I saw this vid once before a practice with plastic man n he wouldnt let me borrow it lol
windmills didnt' come from gymnastics. Windmills came from backspins, when Crazy Legs did a backspin and by mistake of trying to turn over in to a freeze, from turning over went again on his back continuing the backspin while flipping body 180 over. Thus why windmills were originally called the continuous backspin.
Tracklist: (i searched for years for the first two!!) Herbie Hancock - Ready or Not Herbie Hancock - Tell Everybody Jamiroquai - Travelling Without Moving And now some arse-licking: Storm is the greatest. True bboy. Much respect to him and Swiftrock. I had this vid years ago and watched this part of it so much i basically wore out the tape :) Keep rockin buddy!
And his floorwork with the knee rocking is VERY similar to Mr Wiggles bboy stuff and on one vid it says Mr Wiggles was the one that invented all that, can some 1 just confirm for me who invented the knee rock footworks?
I've got to agree with 5uper5tring, I learned a lot from storms footwork fundamental dvd. From there I practiced certain footwork variations on my own. I see a couple things on this video that Storm was obviously doing something similar long before me. But at the same time I thought of it on my own. it would suck if someone called me a biter for that.
