It's as per support conditions we take L/7 @ End support and L/7 @ continuous support and L/3 length distance we are taking were bent up bar is going in adjacent slab

Normal slab Total length + bearing For bent up bars or adjacent slab is there Total length + (half of beam width) + (L/3 length of adjacent slab)
