I was hoping to ask you something. Is it cool if I used this as part of the background footage of a RWBY themed discussion vid. Id give credit, of course
i feel that on a spiritual level XD i wanted it to be better, but everything is so watered down and simplified that i'm not super motivated to play it. i could seriously go on about how many opportunities this game missed XD and it's really refreshing that someone with real fighting game skills agrees with me amidst the sea of people praising this game =P
I’m not bashing your opinion but I like it’s more accessible to newer players because half the people who watch RWBY have never played blazblue under night or P4A so even though I’m sad it’s simplified I still see your side to why you don’t like this game I would have preferred more diversity in combos but as I saw with this video they can still be crazy af so I respect your opinion it’s just not mine Ps your a god
i respect yours as well, so no worries there =P i feel that the argument that games have to be simple because a certain set of people haven't played them yet is misguided. Smash, which is what BBTAG wanted to play like, doesn't operate under this logic, but rather, was intended as a party game. despite this, it has some pretty unique inputs, mechanics, etc. that encourage players to practice and get better. if you want to play Smash at a competitive level, then that option is available to you, as well as those game settings (no items, two stock, etc.), but if you want to just play around in a casual setting, those options are there too (ALL THE POKEBALLS =P but yeah, all the items, time matches, coin matches, etc.). in this game, by simplifying the button and combo scheme when you didn't have to doesn't reduce the skill gap in productive ways. instead, it reduces gameplay to an overall repetitive and lackluster experience. i still play BBTAG because i WANT to like it more, but i know i'm not going to; there isn't another game where i can play as Yang and Blake, so here we are =P
