We used to see them frequently at "The Backstage" in Santa Barbara in the mid 90s. This video helped me remember the name of the place. Everytime was awesome, with the doors open to the ally and people swing dancing in it. BBVD were and are AWESOME!
I saw them play the Ventura Theatre a few times. I remember one night with Raging Arb. They played my senior ball in 1996 at Buena High in Ventura. I would see them at the 50’s dinner in town...busy bee. Home town hero’s!
I would like to know their history: where did they grow up, did anyone influence them to play instruments/how old were they when first started playing instruments, which college did they attend, were they all music majors, any interesting stories (i.e. Don Henley of the Eagles failed his freshman year in college), their families, etc.
Thanks for the memories. Saved the video for Jeff (Harris) To see when he gets off his shift.(Sarasota Sheriffs deputy). My husband and I enjoyed flying in a hearing you guys play st Brown Derby. Glad to hear BBVD. Still going strong. 👍. Love from Jeff’s mom as I am now living in Florida , not England; since his dad passed away in 2016. Love , Mrs Toni Harris Hodson (His mom)😘🇺🇸🇬🇧
