BCD996P2 Quick Look 

Just sent mine in for programming into Bearcat Warehouse. Looking forward to getting it back and programmed and then setting up the GPS.

How would I program this system with a DE or decimal format in a p25 phase 2 system or using the HEX system and also how would I set the fire tone out feature

I wish you would show a tutorial how to program frequencies manually. And set the squelch type for digital transmissions.

I sure hope you can help me , a year ago i bought a bct-15x which i had them program for my area , well 2 weeks ago i bought a second one , not programmed thinking i would just clone it.. it looks like a easy straight forward process but i am not having any luck , can you show me how to transfer from my programmed one to the stock bct-15x. these are Identical models. thanks and i sure hope you can

If I want to lockout one system so I can focus on listening to another, how can I do that? I've tried locking it out through ProScan software, but it didn't seem to do anything. The system I tried locking out is still actively scanning. :(

i have 3 15x's one being brand new because about 3 weeks ago the one i have on my nightstand .. sometimes i turn it off before falling to sleep,and sometimes i fall asleep and wake up in the middle of the night and turn it off. well on this one night it was working fine (audio coming out) when i fell asleep and then when i woke up i seen it was still scanning and stopping on the busy channels but NO audio was present. i turned it off and found time a week or 2 later to look at it , i even tried using a pair of headphones and a ext. speaker but no AUDIO from those as well.. I did a full reset to see if that might fix it but to no avail. i did send uniden a email but its the weekend so i was hoping to hear back from them this week sometime, but your video here doesn't sound like i will . i have a small amount of experience with a soldering iron and even bought a "rework" reflow hot air station that ive used once on a dji drone remote controller with success ;-) any ideas for me before i open up the hood on this thing.. thanks in advance - steve

Hi there. With this scanner, is it possible to have it scan based on location? What I mean is, when we travel across the country just have it scanning for pd/fire/ems as were driving from state to state? Or would we have to program in each country/state? Thanks. I'm familiar with old crystal based scanners and the old Bearcat desktops of the early 80's.

How do you scan search for channels in DMR?

I have a TRX-2 that has poor receive sensitivity. I want something for P25 type 1 and 2, locks in on a signal fast and can Handle simulcast. Will this work or do I need to get an SDS unit?

I bet that updated firmware makes the scanner skip over encrypted signals. What a shame we cant even listen to the signals we aren't allowed to hear
