I like your fight Meackang. You said everything I wanted to say to pickens. BCU entertains the crowd at ALL COST. FAMU naturally entertains through talent, musicianship, originality, IDENTITY, tradition, and everything else that so many other bands mimic. Here's a little history lesson: Sir Dr. William P. Foster, the founder of the "100" is also the founder of the entire STYLE AND FORMULA OF ALL HBCU BANDS. He created the entrance, drill, concert selection, dance routine, exit equation.
I love both of these bands damn near equally..NOBODY can put on halftime shows like them..NOBODY. I would give the slight edge to the 100 in half time but I think BCC's last part saved them...I like the "fall out and die" at the end lol...one of these days i'm going to make it to a florida classic.
After this show from last year, I am sure Famu is going to TRY and avenge somethings. I can't wait. This is going to be the biggest FL Classic game since 2003. Let's Go Wildcats!!!

Great job to the 100 for the respect and pride on the field. We have too much of a great and original show to waste energy, character and time on baggin on another band.
I'm a formal memeber of the 100 and I would say BCU dance routine was better to me due to I saw the same show the entire year and it was a good show but BCU was something new that we haven't saw not to proud to say the Pride did their thang!!!! I really only like the ending of the dance routine but i'm a fan of both schools we got to stop going back and 4th and just show up on the field

Dissapointed? why? Only about 10-15% of crowed were in ATL and Orlando. The "100" has and will continue to use the same method..different cities, same show or a variation of.
BCC BAND IS SO GREAT AND THEIR SO COSISTANT BUT FUN AND I LOVE ALL THIER SHOWS FAMU IS A GREAT BAND ALSO BUT AS SIMPLLE AS SAID THEY BOTH COULD NOT BE ON ONE FEILD AT ONE TIME PLAYIN FULL FORCE AND AT DIFFRENT TEMPOS SORRY YALL

I am not an alumni of either of these two HBCU's, and both bands are excellent. However, after viewing both halftime shows, I cannot agree that BCU had the better show. Again while both shows were highly impressive, FAMU band played more music during their dance routine while BCU announcer, did more talking. Sorry, if i had to declare a winner, as difficult as it may be, it would certainly be FAMU.
Being the fact that Bcu mention Famu 11 times in their routine FAMU finds it flattering that u dedicated your show to us! We know being the best comes with haters. Spending all that time dissing us was so cheesy and distasteful..Da 100 ripped yall with old routines..lmao...Did yall do the Pooch Yae in yall routine?? This is what all the talk is about? The SAME SHOW from past FL classics..Intro, DM gimmicks, float BCU, a picture, concert block, dance block, play OUR fanfare, and end the who with Who Run It!?! Didn't the "100" end the show with "Who run it a few classics back?" I guess now all the FAMU rejects and former FAMU band campers can finally say they got a change to play 20th Century fanfare..Cookman ripped it....HA!
Being the 1st, the best and most imitated comes with the territory and "100" members understand that there will always be people down our throats about what WE do because WE STARTED IT. For everyone who has something to say, BCU'S show was entertaining no doubt, but it was entertaining in a way that contradicts the purpose and objectives of the "100". We are two totally diff bands. It's not hate. I have respect for Cookmans band and have great friendship with many of the Bruhs and Soros from their chapters of KKPsi and TBS. Are they a good band? Yes. A very consistant band at that. Are they a Great band? No. Year after year they do things that shoot themselves in the foot. i.e. the eaxact same show minus ONE change of formation and those dry boring concert selections. Everything I stated previously are facts, not hate/smack talk.
umm no. like i said im totaly bias even though im a 100 alumni. cookman show was not that great. thnk about it, it took horatio 2 rant rave and badger us the whole show and yall had 2 play our fanfare jus 2 get house? bcuz during the whole show. u really didnt get any. so if thats what u call a "good show" then yall can hav it. but i hav a question 4 u, name a performance where the 100 had 2 do the same jus 2 get house?....... take ur time, ill wait. lol!!
A year later and I'm still confused on how BCC thinks they got the 100. I don't go to either school and its obvious FAMU had the better show. If it wasn't for the "imitation" of the 100 and the annoucer's diss that show would have got minimal applause. Yes BCC played more up to date music but no one over 25 knew those songs. the Classic is usually filled with Alumni. Also if you have to diss someone you feel threaten by them.. we will see whats in store next year.
So with tha being said, and remember people I marched in the 100 for 4 yrs 03-06. BCU was a lil better than normal with the dance routine movements but still lacked energy. BCU was also very childish and disrespectfull wit BLASTING (not playing) 20th century. but the fake was great. and it took Horatio 2 say rattlers like 20 times jus for yall 2 get house. all in all FAMU had a sub par show and BCU was jus above average. so it took a sub par show 4rm the 100 for BCU 2 come out on top?

You can even look at the past 3 FL Classic Halftime shows for BCU and see the ONLY thing different in their drill is the picture they make. I along with numerous people have said, BCU needs to find their own identity. So until Cookman can do something highly recognizable that they can call their own the will always and continue to be just a "Good Band."
NOw 4 MY rattlers. where do i begine. like always you came into classic OVER confident. yea i know yall been doing tha same show 4ever, but alot of people in orlando never saw it and what they saw that wkend was RAGGED nHORRIBLE. i mean yall was jus going through tha mottions. no excitment, no enthusiasum no nothing jus DEAD. yall was walking through tha drill, and dragging ur feet during the rattler. so actually i wuld say that was 1 of theWORST shows ive seen as far as "puttinig out".
son if u havent noticed we dnt need an "auxillary". there really is no need for an auxillary. i mean what do they do? they dnt march, they dnt play anything, all they do is dance 4 3 min n then they sit n smile. POINTLESS!!!! not 2 mwntion an auxillary takes the attention from the band.(which shuld b the focal point) thats y the 100 dnt hav any. bcuz we dnt need them for people 2 pay attention 2 our show. unlike other bands. i.e. all HBCU EXCEPT the 100. like i said thnk about it.
So, we spell BCU on the field, and are cordial, classy and show great sportsmanship, but they bag on our announcer, mock our show, and tell us to lay down and die. Great sportsmanship BCU! The show was childish and very ignorant. And why spend so much time killin' us when you can simply put on your own show? BCU is all on our stuff instead of being original and puttin' on a great performance. I am a "100" member and a Wildcat fan. The show was good, but lack of maturity prevents greatness.
Both bands were kinda boring. But BCU was the MOST boring. Cookman didn't try to do nuthin until the end, by then it was too late and the damage had been done.

Please !!! dis High school of a" Band". Remember FAMU is the only the band at the Classic. BC- Who !!!......... We rattlers, will strike, strike, and strike again on you wild puppies. They couldn't play me all the money in the world to attend lame ass college.
