One thing you can never say about BCU is they don't sound good. They always sound very good, balanced, crisp & just have an uniformity to theyre sound & look. Great job BCU! Coming from a TnSU fan. #AoB🎩🔴🔵
FAX! You see, SU is ok but trumpets are always overplaying and unbalance AF. and they always drag endings. Bethune is so precise and they be hittin them 90s. Sooo underrated! Only thing I could say is that they chant and dance for most of the songs
From a former rattler, that intro was fie!, love the balance and tone, and musicianship the ability to play with volume without blasting through their instruments. Good job!
Always proud to see a college band that can set this kind of example for young people! Discipline, musicianship, respect, honor for the craft etc. Playing loud can get you a lot of applause, but full package earns you applause and genuine RESPECT!
i posted something similar to this statement on another band's performance. . . . Over the last few years I have grown accustomed to listening to the H.B.C.U. bands. Although they tend to play with massive volume, yet enjoyable and exciting. Now to offend some of the other colleges & university bands, there shows seem to get more boring every year. . . . .keep the tradition of getting the crowd on their feet at then end of the performance !
The best part is when the students got exxcited saying “OMG Neck” thats when you as a band have done what was suppose to been done. When the young people know you and the music you play.
This must be Dutchtown first time seeing BCU in person. What they wasn’t allowed to get up. Well they can’t go nowhere else, and just gave people in their seats. I’m for one a big fan of BCU. I’m up on my feet at they Florida Classic.
Im a band student at Dutchtown and most of us went to HBOTB, gone to different HBCUs to watch battles, and even are mentored by BCU alumni but our administration be tight on rules when visitors are in the building
As usual they sound incredible. And I'm not just saying that because I've been a fan and following them for years. I'm saying that because it's the truth. Out of all the bands I watch on here, they always the best blend of sound and dynamics. They are the epitome of musicianship.
@@BABYDOLLNESTLE I actually live in Henry County. So good to see an HBCU represented here. Most kids, all they hear about is UGA and other big schools in the region.
WE was playing "talking out the side of your neck" in HS in 97.....stop it already...Not only that ...that sounds like SHEET MUZIC.....some shit they actually PRACTICED...maybe Im dumb old but those songs my HS band NEVER PRACTICED. If you was a Freshmen you had to FIGURE IT OUT! Those were the songs we played after the football team won and we was fin to CRANK!
