Great description for both. When I smelled these I didn’t think much of Sel D’Argent and preferred Citrus Riviera. At first impression, Citrus Riviera gave me this feeling that I was at a Kentucky Derby party sippin’ a mint julep.....in Miami though. And that made me smile! I tried Sel D’Argent and at first I was a bit ho hum about it. But the next morning I was working out and the most amazing smell was enveloping me. I did not think it was Sel D’Argent because it was so light the day before. So I went and smelled the polo I had on the day before and OMG! It does smell like you were at the beach, but in the way that Aqua di Gio did back in like ‘99-‘02 before it (at least to me) stopped smelling like Aqua Di Gio. Or kind of like the Limited Edition Aqua Di Gio; the one in the blue see through bottle with the sky and ocean in the back (except better IMO). That said, it’s not going to make you smell like Aqua Di Gio. There’s just one aspect of this fragrance that captures what I loved about Aqua Di Gio back in the day which to me is no longer there. So Citrus Riviera made me smile, but Sel D’Argent is the next addition to my collection. I’m happy to have found a fresh scent that (surprisingly) has the kind of long lasting, albeit more subtle, affect that MFK BR540, PDM Layton Exclusif, and TF Tuscan Leather have for me personally.

I LOVE Mandarino Di Amalfi so much! I definitely need to try these out. I enjoyed hearing about citrus riviera in particular and more about how it smells!
