Fughar's Timepiece is an important reward that you get during the season server in Black Desert Online as it essentially lets you get a second copy of the progress you made on your first season character! It is also necessary to use this item to allow yourself to graduate early. And many people delete this item because they arent sure how to use it which is a mistake! Fughar's Timepiece however in my opinion is very easy to use incorrectly, so today's guide shows you how to use it! One thing I want to note here though is that this item is once per season, NOT once per family forever - just wanted to clear that up since it's been asked a ton.

Yeah you have to use the timepiece pre graduation. Not possible to grad with it in your inventory

I used Fughar's Timepiece 2 hours before maintenance and season ends. Really great item! Now I got both level 63 Drakania and Lahn. :)

I was confused at first because it seems like the quest is no longer called "The Sage of Velia" and had to remake my character because I accidentally R spammed past that point. In case anyone else is confused, here's what you do.. You can burn through the beginning quests up until you fight Red Nose. After you kill Red Nose, you will turn in that series of quests ending with the Princess and she will send you to the Velia border to talk to Momo which will start a cutscene of the Velia beach. It's after that cutscene that you are prompted to talk to Hans, which is where you stop and do the time piece transfer. After the transfer is complete, talk to Hans who will start another cutscene and THEN send you to the Alchemist who gives you the option to do the simplified questline.

I have a Character that have the old man quest which is the one that send you to the alchemist to do her things and i haven't used the Frugals items yet.. can i Forfeit the Quest then use the timeline Item and come back and talk to the old dude to get the skip story or i already f***** up?

@@JellalFernandes1991 I’m not 100% sure tbh, but if you skip cutscenes and spam R through all of the dialogue, starting a new character and getting back to that point takes like 10 minutes, so if I were you I’d just remake the character to play it safe. Unless you have, for whatever reason, already spent pearls on that character, then maybe you risk it, otherwise I’d say just remake.

If you haven’t talked to the sage yet then it will PROBABLY be fine to use it but I haven’t been in that position so can’t 100% confirm. Worst case scenario is you just have to quest again, which sucks but you don’t lose anything it’ll just take extra time.

Hello Question about this, I have main season char which is warrior. I just wanted to use the time piece to have an alt character with the same level and SP. Correct me if im wrong but i will use the timepiece for the alt charcter and graduate it and convert the tuvala weapons and gear for my warrior right? Thanks!

To do the quest skip do you have to have it completely done one your original character or will it just catch you up? I.e. if I'm only lvl 58 and just starting the desert area I have to start completely over on the quests because I didn't progress far enough first

Thanks for the Guide. So how does the Gearing work? Can I keep the Tuvala Gear and Weapon on my First character and the do the Timepiece Transfer and basically do another set of Tuvala and Weapon the same way I did it woth the first character? Or do I have to Transfer the Gear from Char 1 to Char 2 and have no Gear on Char 1?

Why do i want to quest up to that guy before i timepiece? If i can only skip all the quests on the season server ... whats the difference from starting the questline from the beggining on season server up to that point? Rather than taking my lvl 1 questing on a normal server up to that guy... then timepiecing. Whereas i could just timepiece the lvl 1... and then do the questline up to that point on the season server? I is confused :(

Do you get any of the inventory expansion slots from skipping? Those are kind of a necessity.

You do, yes. You get all the rewards you would get from questing in a followup quest chain from fughar where he just hands you all the stuff essentially for hitting certain levels

Iv done the questline a few times on chars but did a season this time on the new morning light one. I want to change my gear and such to another season class, can I still do this method? It's my understanding that only 1 of your characters needs to have done the main questline and not the specific season char you are yoinking the stuff from

Great vid. One question though. I'm on console so our season just started. I too made a Drakania for season and have her at 56, and plan on swapping to ironically Nova. But since Drakania has no awakening yet how does that 3rd tuvala exchange coupon even work with no weapon to swap? Or is it used to exchange the blue awakening weapon you get from your awakened quest?

okk so this is my first season my 1st character is ninja and if i use timepiece to swap stats and lvl on 2nd character hashasin will my first character still have the pen tuvala gear as it is my main character so i need to convert it into normal gear

So your first character is more or less naked after the transfer, since I assume the character that received the level boost is wearing all your tuvala. Is it possible to make a second set of tuvala on the first character prior to using the time piece so it has at least some sort of equipment?

@@ScreaM94 Hey! I got my answer and just wanted to share it. After the season ends they will give you 1 ticket for each of your gear, weapon, and accessories. So sadly you will need to buy another set of gear from the central market if you like both of the characters you made.

Hey, just a tip if you didn’t know. It’s not recommended to skip the MSQ on sky’s, because if you ever plan on going for rulupees journal for the 30k quest reward (300 fail stacks), you are effectively increasing the effort to do so. The MSQ is the easiest and most efficient way to increase total quests on your account! Just letting you know in case you didn’t. The 300 failstacks might seem useless to you now, but if/when you ever get to the point of progression of deboreka necklace/belt pen, you will need to enhance it to pen yourself and at 310 failstacks you have a 17^~ success rate. You can’t buy pen deboreka on the market and most likely never will be able to.

I did everything exactly to a T. Doesn’t work. Stop after talking to momo with the cutscen of the Velia beach and did the timepiece in a non season server. Then talked to Hans and directed towards the alchemist who didn’t give me options to skip the quest

Confused at 4:00 says send the 2nd character through the questline stop at sage of val and do the timepiece copy ?then go back to your second character do the sage again? I got so lost because i thought u already used the timepiece on 1st character to make second character

No you don't use the time piece to make the second char. U use the timepiece to copy the skill and combat xp to aj existing char. And you're supposed to stop before the sage of velia, and then complete the quest post time piece to make sure your char has season status and can therefore skip the main quest

Love the Video thanks! Made a Sage and wasn't the biggest fan so was able to switch to Warrior. Only issue was after I did the switch, I was unable to skip the original questline. I stopped at Hans like you suggested. After the switch talked to Hans, talked to Alustin and he did not give me the option to skip through the quest line. Any Suggestions? I am level 56 and trying to do the Valencia questline to continue to level up.

So whenever you use the time piece the original character being copied is no longer a season character? Is that technically graduating? Because I leveled my main and want to graduate with them? That would be really lame if I cannot graduate and get my TET boss gear from Jetina on my main

Correct. when you timepiece, your 2nd char becomes your season char, and the original char is now a "normal" char and cant wear season gear. The way to do this if you want the original char to be your main, but still get the 2nd char, is wait until early graduation is available. Time piece from the main to the 2nd char, and then use early grad to grad the 2nd char from seasons. Then, use the tuvala transfer stones to turn the gear from season tuvala to regular tuvala, and then give it to your main. hope that makes sense - if not i do have a grad guide on my channel

If i use the timepiece to copy my stuff over from my season ninja to a new lahn, but i still want to use my tuvala exchange for boss gear on my main ninja. Will i have to enhance a new tuvala set for the lahn, or can i copy my tuvala pen armor to the lahn and still exchange the armor on my main for boss gear?

You only end with 1 set of gear. So if you wanna use both, your best bet is to make 1 your "main" and then tag the other to copy your gear

@@dottzgaming hey, i am sorry but it is not fully clear to me. if i use the timepiece on my ninja(i have full pen tuvala gear on him) will i be able to use that gear on the normal servers when my ninja is not a seasonal character anymore? I get that i will have to make a new set for the character i copied to, i just want to know if i keep the set on the normal servers on my ninja

Let me try and do this step by step and let me know if it makes sense; 1. Ninja wearing full tuvala season gear. 2. You use the timepiece on let's say a lahn. The lahn now has season status. Your ninja is now a normal character, and cannot wear season gear, therefore cannot wear the pen tuvala, however your lahn can. You use weapon coupons to convert the ninja weapons to lahn weapons 3. Lahn plays through the rest of the season and graduates (I have a graduation guide on my channel). your tuvala season gear gets converted into normal tuvala gear and can now be worn by any character on your account. 4. Exchange tuvala gear and weapons for guaranteed boss armor and weapon boxes. Open the weapon boxes on your desired main to get boss weapons they can use. Hope that cleared it up!

Thank you for this video. I have a question. I have 3 characters (1) Guardian Lv61, (2) Archer Lv15, (3) Drakania in season. I would like all my Drakania's Pen Tuvala armor and weapons to be exchanged for boss gear for my Guardian, and I want my Drakania to tinepiece to my Archer. With this being said, how will my Archer get Tuvala armor and weapon? Does my Archer get Tuvala only by exchanging Ores to blacksmith? Is this plan i want possible at all?

Imo, here's how i'd go about this: 1) Timepiece the Archer from your Drakania, doing what i described in this video. 2) Graduate the archer from the season, following this guide: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qZbKX5aMVBQ.html 3) When you convert all of your Tuvala season gear to non-season Tuvala, exchange it with Jetina for the items i described in the guide listed in step 2. but make sure you do NOT open the weapon boxes you get. 4) Give all the armor and weapon boxes to your guardian 5) equip the armor, open the weapon boxes on the guardian 6) Tag your archer to your guardian. Theyll now both be able to use the same set of gear, and i have a tag system guide coming out next week. Hope this helps!

question is all u YT creators show 61 lvl chars but what is some1 made char play some and not like that class and want change it but u can't make 2nd char on season server then is question what i need to do cancel 1st char and start play 2nd from start or u can transfer season status from 1st char to 2nd and play it this new player what to know.Not bulshit 61 lvl char u need take off ur gear blablabla .

Go through regular questline defeat Red Nose and STOP QUESTING when it tell you to talk to Hans. This "Guide" gives wrong quest name so dont listen to the whole "sage of Velia" bullshit just stop at Hans

It wasn't wrong when this was made. the intro quest line was just altered slightly - this is how it used to be. however, the theory is the same - stop at hans.

@@dottzgaming i mean it is wrong, but not in a way this guy makes it out to be. you say "before talking to hans" several times, which made me think this was important, so when i got that point and the quest said "talk to hans" i stopped and came back here.. i also took into consideration that this video is a year old, which made me think the quest name might have changed, which turned out to be just the case. I am basically learning BDO from your videos for the last two weeks. thanks for great content.

Things should lill bit slower when u creating tutorial video.. The way u rushed it aamt ur screen nobody will be able to catch up ur step by step action 😂😂.. Lill bit slow next time.. Dislike
