That's a cool concept you adopted for sure. Good work. :) And the music is nice. I swapped back to awakening; And honestly it was a rough decision... I obviously enjoyed both but when I played awakening and got accustomed again, I really do feel succession gave me a upper hand in a lot situations. Like I feel awakening takes a lot more skill and handling than succession, Not saying succession is downright faceroll your keyboard and win type of thing but I'm saying as I fought with awakening I felt like it was definitely a lot harder to find openings for sure. Other than that, I will stay awakening for a good while, I am dedicated to prove that awakening can fight too even despite the difficulty. (Also don't worry, I love both awakeing and succession so I'm not harming myself playing either, I enjoy it like welcoming a challenge.) Edit - I really don't like the feeling of "My kit is carrying me" type of thing, And after swapping to awakening it really did feel like succession was easier to handle against a lot classes, I'm not great but I'm decent fighter and I love sparring and out of my personal experience that's how it felt to me. Forgive for always typing so much lol... I mean no harm this is just my thought process.
Yeah I agree succ definitely has its advantages in some scenarios, but I also feel that the reason it might be easier to catch people in succ is because a lot of people still aren't familiar with what succ kuno's can do (especially with the tendon cutter). Awakening has been around for years so I feel like a majority of the player base is 'used' to fighting awakening more than they are against succ. But yeah the challenge is always welcome! I've been messing around with awakening a little bit on trials every now and then myself haha
I honestly use shackles in a similar fashion but more so to bait people(the moments you felt you shouldn't have used it), I just start the animation and then cancel it with a GS into something protected. Great video/ content as always. That last clip at the end hits home way too hard lmao.
Yeah baiting is fine, I just know personally I was just throwing it out on a whim hoping to get lucky right there LOL I should try to bait more myself with shackles. I do like how you can cancel into smoke during shackles with space but I havent really used it in a fight yet. That last clip was pretty much 90% of my time out there haha but it was fun being in the mix
@@TwoMinds2 yup I feel you. I'm honestly thinking of going back to chola earring but I still have a lot of fun with the mix-up potential of Succ, there are so many moves you can bait with..my personal favorite is get up in someone's face, sinew>asassins trail>dance back in>smoke>flashand finish with a combo if you catch. Much fun to be had.
I do not sadly :( But if you tell me how many skill points you currently have I could make a sheet for you of what I would use with the points you have
Hello! i really found amusing the "shadow stomp mouse movemant"!!! i never thoght something like that even exist. I practiced it until i manage to performe it myself. But i have some question: do you really use it on pvp? is it really useful? when would u use it? loved the video man! i have learn a lot from your videos, thank you very much! greetings from México.
I use it sometimes, It's something I need to work on to use it comfortably. There are some people who mouse move every stomp! It can be useful but it can also mess you up. The situations where I would use it is pretty much if your stomp is going to put you in a position where you might get caught just for doing it, you can mouse move yourself away to make it less risky. :)
I really like this concept of breakdown. Thought of doing one myself but I'm just too lazy x( We have a different playstyle I think, and you use shackles way more than me. Very interesting to watch! I realised how much I S-block compared to you, but yeah holy fck, just make it that at least Q block doesnt drain stam please, so I don't increase the distance with my opponent. Really cool video I hope you do more of this :) Especially if you can do NWs ones
Excellent footage, I've really enjoyed it. But please do an unannotated part first, it's easier to grasp when you see the whole thing first and then the breakdown.
As a kuno main who recent fought a succ lahn. Those SA are hard to beat, I'm pretty confident in trades or baiting other classes into grabs but the pressure from succ lahn pretty insane. Any tips? Also love the new video style
It is pretty rough. Back when I first heard about succ lahns coming out and that they had no grab I thought it was going to be an easy matchup that I could just sit in SA and grab them when they get close. I quickly learned I was wrong haha they just shred you while you're in SA and you'll probably whiff the grab because of how they move in their attacks. I don't really know the gaps to succ either but usually what works for me is burst movement into a grab. They seem to stay still when they think they are a 'safe' distance away from you and ankle cutter > ghost step > grab usually works. Other than that its just fishing for cc's on a rotation :s Im still learning the matchup myself, sorry I don't have more information!
TwoMinds The gaps we have on succ lahn are kind short tbh. The spin to win has a start up gap but catching that with a cc is next to impossible unless desync or something. The rmb skill where we stand and just do a ton of dmg has no SA on first hit which is ok to punish if you see it but again, short window. There’s the ranged kick we have that has no SA on first kick, that’s pretty much the longest window we have where you could cc us, the other kicks have SA. Salpuri has no SA. And our ranged kd skill that has a forward move at the end is fg for most so that’s a good punish since cancelling that takes time. Other than that if you pressure the stamina then it becomes somewhat of an “easy” fight but doing that takes some time cuz ofc you have to not die lol. We should duel sometime!!
Hmm the best I can say is to go at your own pace! Learning comes to everyone differently, don't be discouraged if somethings not clicking right away. It all comes with time :)
You can use mouse movement to turn your shadow stomp. :) The shadow stomp will still go forward but you character will go wherever you decided to mouse move to. It makes risky shadow stomps a little safer
@@TwoMinds2 yessirrrr, i wanted a decent fight with ya but it seemed like there was a wizard every where i turned ':D so i just was a rat off in the distance picking people off so i dont die to SA trades lmao
