BDO | Protty Cave is ACTUALLY Worth Grinding?!

If you're a player who's tired of grinding the same location over and over, consider trying out Protty Cave! Even though it may not compare to some of the later end grind spots. This location is certainly one that with the recent buffs is worth grinding. Let me know how many Red shards you end up getting!

Haha, I've always enjoyed the spot in the past, but seeing that. it got a buff i decided to head back and actually still enjoy it. I still think you should go there and test it for yourself!

Imo it's a really good spot. After 10 hours, I got 24 rainbows rings (which are 62m ea on console atm for the new journal), 7 red shards, 1 duo rainbow ring (459m), 1 sycria song, 1 shimmering old moon piece, and 38 pity pieces. I used agris and can confirm the ~350m/hr trash loot. It's pretty efficient. 100k agris lasted about 8 1/2 hours. I am level 0 node and always had tier 2 loot scroll active FYI. Would highly recommend.

It's one of of the better exp spots right now from 59+ not counting party spots

I'm trying to get my season char to 62. Been testing out grindspots and heard protty was decent. Was kinda disappointed exp wise at least. got 10% protty cave at one hour with basically full exp buffs compared to sycraia where i got 17% an hr.

Protty cave sadly isn't a place to compare to Sycraia, Sycraia is just better in every aspect. But this place has definitely gone up since the buffs. It's a cool place to try out though. But 10% is still pretty good!

Do you think it would be worth going here for caphras after the changes they had made idk if talked about it in the video or not

For caphras, no. This spot isn't really good for caphras or dust. But in comparison to other spots that season characters grind, it's not that bad with agris. Especially if you're able to get a couple red shards and hour

Hey, i did another test, since console.just dropped T5 pets. Sage awak 275 Leveling crystals (could possibly earn more) Blue + agris 24,574 trash (258mil) Ive noticed a mix of destroying the plant to have the elite mob spawn from time to time does increase trash loot by ALOT!. Anoyying thing about this place is having to run back up to sell my trash.

Yea, running up to sell trash can be annoying since it'll take a LOAD of storage maids. That's why I did the method with the horse hopping from island to island.

@@Ahzure_ XPs are so good there. It also jukes you with AP/DP requirement, you reach a point where skeleton archers storm you while the elite robs your soul.

@@cherishhaze yea, it's not the best spot for silver but compared to some of the potion places it's not that bad. Also since most veteran players have grinded almost every grind spot, it's a nice change of scenery

I know this is 5 months late, but yeah this has been my sleeper spot for ages for getting my alt characters to 60-61. Very chill grind, good exp, most of the time nobody else is there and yeah nowadays the money is ok. Also idk if I have insane luck or what but I got 3 red shards in a single hour the other day.

Sorry for my late response, but yea 3 red shards is pretty nice! I would be happy with just getting one, but with this drop event I'm sure you'd see 1-2 an hour maybe?

You can, but it's super sketch, you basically have to horse whistle it to the island and then ride it down? But I heard they may have patched it since they intended for your horse to not go down there.

How do you put the Protty Fin number on your screen ?

Whenever you open your inventory just right click on the trash loot and press "Item count" and it should pop up somewhere on your screen which you can then drag and place wherever!

@@Ahzure_ this should be fun, transfering the game back on my console as we speak.. Well since i play from asia, on an NA server with 300+ ping, theres gonna be quite the difference in trash loot. Also we dont have tier 5 pets

Ok, soooo. Sage awak, 271AP 317DP 1 hour, super rusty Manage to get 19112 trash (200mil) With blue and agris, and 1 red shard. I'd say maybe if i used a faster class, and was better with the rotation, i could push it to 220-230mil. But if anyone om console was playing at a comfortable 90-120 ping, could prolly do 250mil with optimal rotations, would be my guess.

There's a couple ways, you can either just swim out to the island, or take a boat which will be much faster.

Yea it isn't a spot that'll compare to upper or lower gyfin. But it's a chill place to come to on a season character for decent exp/skill exp along with some red shards
