The fact this dude is not partnered with BDO is absolutely mindblowing He's the sole reason myself (and many others) ever even started playing in the first place. BDO is a game that is so easy to quit and his videos are that first google search that tells you everything you need to know.
Real ones remember EvilDoUsHarm from the BnS days. I miss those days, they were good days, but he, and ultimately I, have gotten a lot more out of moving to BDO in the long run, in my humble opinion.
I don't remember but he's been making BDO content since like late 2019 or 2020. He used to play Blade & Soul/make videos for it and switched around that time. Looks like he doesn't really play BDO anymore either now.
BDO character customization has gotten worse ever since they released Nova. Like every new class just reuses the same base model, and I don’t get how nobody is annoyed by it.
As soon as you pulled up Kristen Stewart's face, I hit that like button. I thought of her when he showed his character. Btw I always morph my faces, bdo has way too good of a character creator not to. And I enjoy spending hours making character's.
42:46 I think I'd agree on this, the person in chat might've been talking about Retail WoW. So in BDO you can spend $$$ to get the materials to enhance stuff or to sell costumes on the marketplace to just buy it yourself. In WoW the closest comparison there is buying Bind on Equip epics off the auction house. The real P2W is the rampant boosting and carrying "culture". Just paying to be dragged like a dead fish through content. This isn't even taking into account the GDKP issue which plagues Classic WoW (or it did until they banned it in SoD, but we both know they'll just do it other discord now). But Blizzard is getting their hands dirty in this too. That max level boost with "raid-ready gear" while laughable from a gear score perspective, sets an uneasy precedence of Blizzard just selling gear outright too.

As a guy who never enhances and only buys his gear, the pity system for enhancing is going to be one the best and most enticing upgrades that BDO has ever seen. “You mean that we can actually play the game as it was intended?” 😱😮🤯
Such a terrible game, just copy paste hundreds of the same enemies in groups slash through them on to the next group.... You literally should be getting paid 10$ and hour to play this trash, game is not the typical mmo this is boring and a waste of time
