Its because the life series is ment to be short so 8 or so episodes And not enough deaths happened so far so starting this episode they swapped from non damage tasks to mostly damage based tasks to hasen the fnale as this is episode 7 and as a weekly thing its pulling from the players time especially as its now the holiday season and most are married with kids. So its not that they wouldn't do a longer colab smp but they have to be done by a set time. So blame the starting time plus this year has been buisy for the players hence why not all the regulars joined this series.

Task Idea: Etho's Task: You are Grian's butler, and must do all he says. But you can't let him or anyone else figure it out, or you fail. Grian's Task: You are Etho's butler, and you must do all he says. But you can't let him or anyone else figure it out, or you fail. These tasks I think would be super funny together, to see both people trying to butler for each other.

I feel like this would work better as an early series task and with more people. Imagine five or six greens in a big loop trying to subtly help someone. Everyone in the group would be confused why they all keep interacting and also think that the others all helping each other will cover for their own actions.

@@nuttyrawr Correct. Except Mumbo's task was not the first butler task either. The reason this one is fun is that both Grian AND Etho have the same task, and yet they can't tell each other. The point of my suggestion was just to give an idea to the secret life people behind the scenes, who put the tasks together, to edit as they wish. Maybe it would be better with Grian as Etho's butler, Etho as Scott's butler, and Scott as Grian's butler. Who knows, but I'm sure the task makers can come up with something hilarious!

I found that task pretty lame tbh, had nothing to do with secret life anymore, it overwrote all tasks, couldn't be guessed and was just a lazy excuse to end the season earlier (understandable but dont like how it was done)

This was such an obviously forced way of doing it, and I wish they they’d just let it happen organically. I wonder how this session would’ve gone had we not had the apocalypse. The fact that Joel's task genuinely feels so _natural_ to him that if it hadn't been because i watched him before bdubs i wouldn't have known. Hell, i didn't even question anything when i watched Pearl. Also Bdubs' task is SO HIM i DID NOT notice ANYTHING WRONG when i watched Cleo. NOR SKIZZ. NOR SCOTT OR ANYBODY ELSE. Gem is probably one of the scariest people to have ended up with this task. Initially give this to a more careful or passive player (e.g., Impulse, BigB) and they might have let this sit for most of the session. But Gem was right away like "NOPE, Imma trap multiple bases and wait for my seeds to take root," and that's what let it cascade into THIS. Gem being Gem was the catalyst for this session being so awesome/hilarious.

Task idea: Design and build a house on the top of bdubs’ globe. If bdubs is already building/built a house on top of it, you need to stop him. Build before he can, destroy what he’s made, convince him you’ll do better, pay him off, build yours around his, do anything to make sure your design stays. You fail this task if at the end of the session your house design isn’t on the top of the globe, any you succeed if you do.

Task idea: Go to someone and find an advancement neither of you have completed. Engage this person in a race to complete said advancement. There is no penalty for losing the race. To complete your task, you must win 3 advancement races. You can race anyone you want, you can race multiple times
