hey my awesome friends. i wanted to try a new series where i meet randoms and just talk about life and have raw conversations, maybe get a few good games, and learn an important lesson through it all.

I think I will never understand why my teammates never speak until they die and then be angry that makes no sense

I usually don't speak, but when I have 20 +games of solo que I can get irritated of the things that don't matter

Yeah still baffles me. Usually though if they’re at least using their pings consistently, then that’s totally fine. But if they’re not communicating via mic OR pings, and they get mad, then that’s where the problem lies.

that was so real of that guy. I think to this day, I've been alone with people, and that I haven't been the "real me" in years with anyone. Being alone by myself also gets draining, but settling for people that I don't vibe with didn't really make it better in the end. But anyways 😅, this was such a good idea for a video. You captured that natural progression from when you pair up with a random and then slowly that rapport turns into some deep convo by the end. Probably a very relatable scenario for a lot of ppl who play online.

Yes I totally agree with you. Being alone by yourself or with the wrong people isn’t a way to live. Finding the right people that just get you is where it’s at. But that takes time because it’s easier for us to just settle with people that barely meet us halfway or even not at all. Once you find the right person, which you will, do me a favor and don’t ever feel guilty for being your real self. Even do that now and you’ll attract the right people for your life. I’m rootin for you. 🧡

Its so cool to watch your channel grow keep it up. I usually dont turn on my mic because when i do i feel the atmosphere change for the worse i feel like its my voice

Honestly I feel like we’re our own worst enemy. The things that bother us, most people don’t even notice. So what you might feel like a negative atmosphere change, may actually be a nice break in the common silence epidemic that goes on in Apex, heck gaming in general. Give it a shot and I promise you’ll get a lot of awesome reactions.

The thing I like the most about this is the emotion and passion when playing the game. It seems like you are still very hyped after the clutch in pubs even after 20k kills, and this energy is really infectious ngl👏

Thank you! Heck yeah, even after years of playing this game, I still feel like every clutch or cool moment is the first time haha. I’ll never get tired of it, and honestly I hope I never will. That’s sort of how I wanna live life, just experiencing things in their raw form, and never getting tired of the process. ❤️

I never was either, but I just decided to start giving basic comms and not try to actually talk. That eventually led me to now being totally comfortable with always having my mic on

Yeah just as Mark said! Baby steps is the way to go. Start by just using it as comms and eventually it’ll become more natural to talk about other things when you become comfortable :)

I'm not really a very sensitive person, but its disheartening sometimes icl, especially when you know that you're bad and are just trying to get better :( I'll deff start putting my mic on more when I get a little better though :) Thanks guys for the advise

tbh i stopped talking as much cause my teammates would just get mad for taking their legends or over stupid stuff so it makes it harder to wanna turn on your mic for the next game. good to see people like you two though

a lot of people dont talk anymore and just be grumpy because they are frustruated most of the time and just dont genuinly enjoy the game, maybe because of SBMM putting players against sweaty lobbies all the time, also on the playstation muting the mike became super easy since since the new controllers came its like push to talk, ngl this game is addictive but can be really depressing

Oh dang I never heard about that push to talk on new controllers. I miss when back then old mics and old games just had simple game chat and nobody cared what they said. Like I used to play black ops 1 and I’d just play zombies with random people and we would just have so much fun and didn’t care about the world. Man, I miss those days. Apex feels much more depressing now.

Oh no! I can’t even imagine how that feels. I can’t speak for other guys, but as for me, if I played with a girl, I’d play the same as with my guy friends! In fact, I’d probably be more sensitive and inviting because I know you all get more negativity in general. I really don’t know why that exists in gaming, but I hope one day you can find a duo or squad you feel comfortable with!
