Hi Johnny, thank you for this very instructive and useful lesson. This is one of my favorite blues guitar intros ever. I am a Johnny fan since my youth. He became famous after his incredible Rockpalast performance here in Germany 79. Despite this fact, he is one of the most underestimated blues rock players. Congratulations for your playing and your lesson. Keep on rocking.
This is excellent, thanks so much! I also have been trying to master this and occasionally looking to see if someone has posted a good tutorial, finally someone has!
Hello you big About 50 years ago I heard " Be carful ..." by Johnny W. and wanted to be able to understand what he was playing. For many years I didn't play guitar anymore because of my job. Since 1,5 years I started again. Thanks to your video, you gave me deep insights into Winter's playing technique. Thank you very much for that. Maybe there is more to learn from you about Johnny Winter. I would be very happy and I'm sure your fans would be too. Stay healthy. Volker Urban
Very happy currently working on "Be care..." Part 1, it is magical to now understand and also be able to play the cobination of the notes played by J.W.. Even if clearly in slower tempo. All the best Greetings Volker
I've been a Winter's fan since the late 60s and really glad to see the Alvin Lee Goin home. Just discovered your channel today. I hope you do some robin trower tutorials too. I saw Johnny Winters a few times over the years, last time was in Toronto, he was the back up band for Golden Earring. I'd been away from concerts, bands, music in general, didn't think I'd like it, but it was great. He did his set and everyone left, Golden Earring played to an empty house pretty much, the write up the next day called it boring earring. You want to draw some more attention, this might not be to your taste, but check out Jake Lee if you haven't, Ozzy's guitarist for bark at the moon and ultimate sin albums. Sin in particular has great tunes for breaking down that I haven't seen anyone do yet. Thanks for the lessons.
@@johnnyguitwithit2614 Thank you ! I'm goin to practice that. Winter was from another planet, his "progressive Blues" change my ear....but i can't play it hahaha only the riff of "Mean Town Blues"
