Leroy Curnew Most instances where “paradise” is mentioned it’s actually referring to heaven. There are only a few instances. You can easily check them all. The only one where it’s not obvious it’s referring to heaven is the one where the comma has been shifted around so that “truly I tell you,,,,today,,,,you will be with me in paradise.” This one is in question. Bit all the other verses your own publications show refer to heaven. And as mentioned, if the bible teaches a “paradise earth” one would that that phrase would appear somewhere in the bible. It never does. Is this a hidden teaching only jw see, similar to all those types and anti types?
Jehovah's Witnesses are the most peaceful and loving people have ever met. They practice what they teach, and they are very kind as well. They are worthy if imitation. I will definitely look for one of them to teach me the Bible.

I'll *never* forget when Prince converted to JW. His voice become softly humble. I was in a hosp & was around patients that had the TV on in the main room on a local news channel several yrs ago. They mentioned how Prince's performances became so wholesome but still entertaining, & that since he became JW, it was as if he changed for the better. JWs are incredible! Sadly, not all are true to God, but the majority are very sincere!!

I've already attended the convention here in Amarillo Texas and I really enjoyed the wonderful talks and videos. They were so refreshing and informative on how to deal with daily situations that are going on today and the loving association was just awesome. I thank God for such a wonderful provision.

We have had our conventions in a town that I grew up in that is basicly going bankrupt. But when we come, hotels and restaurants are so thankful because its bringing money to a breaking town. It's truly awesome.

JW already know what Jesus, told his followers, that if they persecuted him, his followers will also get persecuted. That sums up everything, so persecute all they can, but happy are those doing the will of God, and it’s surely none of these people who have negative comments to say about Jehovah Witnesses. All Gods people know is just to pray for those who are persecuting. The love of Jehovah is power over hatred. Enough said.

Another scripture says not to take your brother to court. And then there is the need for two witnesses in order for anything to be handled congregationally. Otherwise things are left “in Jehovah’s hands.” So in the past, if only one witness, nothing was done and they almost always weren’t reported to police. (See ARC as an example). Rather than saying they hide pedophiles, I think it’s easier to argue that it’s a pedophiles paradise, or at least, was in the past, before all the lawsuits and legal battles and losses that have been forcing them to improve policy.

This explains God's Devine Nature Godhead: The term “Godhead " is found three times in the King James Version: Acts 17:29; Romans 1:20; and Colossians 2:9. In summary, the Godhead is the essence of the Divine Being; the Godhead is the only Deity. I so wish this convention was as they described. So many Jehovah's Witness families are torn apart if one decides not to follow the religion anymore... keep in mind, they have not "broken the rules" or committed any sins according to the scriptures, they simply just don't want to follow the teachings of Jehovah's Witnesses any more, and for this--- they are cut off and cruelly shunned by family and friends. So many young people have committed suicide due to this vicious shunning. Please research this, or, better yet, please ask any Jehovah's Witness what and why people are disfellowshipped compared to people who just want to leave.
Clemmy Magee I see you study your Watchtower publications very thoroughly. Just curious...how many ex-JWs, disfellowshipped, disassociated, or faded have you actually talked to and asked why they are where they are? I'm sure I won't get a straightforward or truthful answer, but there is always more than one side to a story, and active JWs aren't supposed to speak with ones as I mentioned above for the simple fact that WT doesn't want anymore to leave from what they learn as the truth about "The Truth".
Charmaine Marino i will tell you what really happens. Every person that is baptised has studied the Bible and our beliefs for at least 6 months. There is no "come on down! with us. Nor do we practice infant baptism. After baptism they go over at least 100 scriptural questions wjth 3 separate Elders to make sure that they understand exactly what they are getting into. The Elders may tell them that they do not understand enough yet and should study more before dedicating their lives to Jehovah and taking an oath to that effect and being baptised. Every single one of them is well aware of the blood issue and disfellowshipping and what it means. If they understand what it means to become one of Jehovah's Witnesses and have stopped behaviours that are unbecoming a Christian.. such as smoking, drunkenness, fornication etc, then the Elders will approve them for baptism. However, if they should commit a serious sin, the Elders will counsel them from the scriptures. If they take the counsel, that is the end of the matter. If they continue, refusing to listen to counsel they are given a warning that they will be disfellowxhipped. If they insist on continuing the bad behaviour they are given a week to repent or say their goodbyes to friends and family.... depending on the sin of course. ( few pelple wou,d want to even say goodbye to a pedophile for instance) Then it is announced in the Congregatuon that so and so is no longer considered to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses and that person is in figurative time-out from that day until he comes to his senses and repents. Therefore, the name of Jehovah was a name never revealed by the LORD. The facts have only to be known to justify this verdict. What are the facts? Ever since the Babylonian invasion of the Kingdom of Judea, and the enforced diaspora of its noble class in 597 BCE, the Jews have had a strong penchant for hiding the name of the LORD (YHWH) from the Gentiles, thus preventing them from potentially profaning the LORD’s name revealed to Moses (specifically the name of YAH, “HaYAH”, as found in Exodus 3:13-15). YAH is “the name which is above every name.” Readers in the synagogues would inadvertently attempt to pronounce the LORD’s name, as there were no vowels in the Hebrew words within the Hebrew Bible [or known as “The Old Testament”] when coming upon God’s name: YHWH. Still, due to their tradition, or the fact that this name erroneously appears in the King James Version of the Bible, they hold to this euphonious name for the sake of their tradition, which makes void the revelation of God (Mark 7:6-7). The Lord has a warning for them, “And now, O priests (pastors and teachers), this commandment is for you. If you will not hear, and if you will not take it to heart, to give glory to My name,” says the LORD of hosts, “I will send a curse upon you, Yes, I have cursed them already, because you do not take it to heart” (Malachi 2:1-2). Satan is deceiving the whole world (Revelation 12:9). Despite being told the truth of the one name of salvation, YAHSHUA, they will hold to the name Jesus and Jehovah, despite never having been revealed by the LORD. Many will reject the name YAHSHUA leaving only a few, and being of the many despite the admonishment: “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). The name Jesus was never revealed by the LORD, or an angel of the Lord, and history proves this, as eminent historian Ernest Renan acknowledged that the Savior was never in His lifetime called “Jesus” (The Life of Jesus, p. 90). The name Jesus, in its present form, has only existed since the 17th century.

This is emotional manipulation. The videos make you attached to this fantasy and to the organization. Even knowing what I know and knowing that it’s not true and misinterpreted, even with years of careful study that disproves all of this, the media still grabs on my heart, because it is emotionally manipulating. Unfortunately this kind of stuff will keep people in this cult, they want to believe this will happen and they just want to think that all of this is true because they want security. It’s hard to wake up from all of this, lose your family, lose the dream of paradise, lose the structure, lose your ego thinking you’re in the best religion, but in the end it’s freedom and accepting reality and common sense is so satisfying and freeing. About how this organization implements strict rules to cut off any friend or family member that decides to no longer believe in the faith?
