Had to watch twice, first time through I was just looking at the gear, studio, lighting, tripods, supplies...I don't think there was anything in that video that I own or could afford except C1 and the tether cable...oh and the food.
Placing glasses is a cool idea! I've been shooting food photos professionally with my Fuji X-H2S lately and thought "where are guys shooting food with awesome Fuji colors?" - here you are, thank you for the great video!
Nice one. More please ;) I am particularly interested in the way you edit your environmental portraits, although the science of light and color can be applied to any subject. I am shooting with Sony and it's great, but I pain to achieve a color tone I truly like. I love the rich redwood and orangy tone of your imagery and the seamless way you put the emphasis on your subject.
Lovely video, just great I realize its been some time but in case you happen to see this would you tell me please what is the tripod adapter you are using when Shooting over head? I try to look for it on you web-page but it was on there so if you see would please give me the name and thanks for all the inspiration you gave on this video. Most helpful indeed.
where do you find your Slatted Wood Serving Trays like the one in this video..i just spent 3 hours looking for them not a single one on the internet without walls, where do you get these flat ones?
It's not about the camera itself. You don't need a middle frame sensor to create such photos. It's all about postprocessing skills. The guy is high-end photographer and this is the point. The gear he is using is amazing, but it's only the tools, not working properly in unskilled hands.
