Widely known as the "Mother of Holistic Medicine", Dr. Gladys grew up in the jungles of the Himalayas. A child of Medical Missionary parents, she gained her medical degree in the US, co-founded the American Holistic Medical Association in the 1970s, and is credited with introducing acupuncture to the US. She credits dyslexia for helping her think differently.
Over the past sixty years, she has pioneered what she calls Living Medicine - a new way of thinking about disease and health that transforms the way we live and reimagines health care around the world.
In this heartwarming series, Dr. Gladys shares her words of wisdom from over 100 years of living. To sit at the feet of this beloved icon, is to open to another level of being wholly ourselves.
