You're not a husk until you give up, until you let yourself become devoid of emotion, love and happiness. I've met husks, they are the saddest people in the world. I think this is an ode to those that have let themselves become a shell of their former being. And serves as an emotionally packed reminder to us that we shouldn't let it happen to ourselves and our loved ones. (Just a theory, love the song.)

Might I ask what this song is telling about? I just happened to get this feeling that the husks are us, the humans. I mean... it's a sad song. The humanity is sad, and fallen so damn low even with all this intelligence, thinking. And it just leaves one wishing for more, for a fulfillment that does not exist in this lifeless plane, inhabited by wandering husks that will never realize it.

This song makes me cry every time i listen to it

As a 15 year old that has been listening to metal all his life I can say that for me this band is at the top. That is still quite easy to say even considering music can only be categorized into genres , and depends upon the listener how he feels about the music and how it effects him. Allthough I have not yet invested any money in theese masterpieces of yours I have gladly invested my time and only happiness and satisfaction have come from it.
