Silent but distant, Real but not seen Here but not happening, Forever has been Into this absence, Two had but strayed Retracing in circles, They surrendered, dismayed Behind them, darkness Ahead, the unknown So they stood, uninvited ...But the roots had grown An error, a tangent A curious mind An instant, a lifetime A secret to find Imagined movements Near shimmering webs The Nightfall descended To rest by their heads Their feet planted firmly 'Neath four darting eyes With pupils dilated, They counted the sighs The dream and the waking Occurring together Realising, then That it mattered not whether Their legs fading into A curding moss Their lungs slowly filling With decades of loss That scent form the forest Not taking, not giving They knew only this - Not buried, not living Their stagnating veins Now hidden from view In skin for the willow And bone for the dew The dream and the waking Ending together Understanding then It had not mattered, ever

Guys from Be'lakor, you make a great music. The lyrics in combination with that very specific sound and melody are amazing. I have never heard of any other band playing melodic death metal that would sound similar to you. Keep making music because it's just so fucking awesome. Oh, and by the way, the album cover of "Of breath and bone" is one of the most beautiful pieces of artwork I've ever seen. Hails from Slovakia!

The melodic riff that plays at 3:16 and which can be heard through out the song is absolutely amazing. I have always loved Be'lakor for this, throwing in great melody and being able to combine it with so many other elements to create masterful songs. Very well done with this new album guys, loving it so much. I'll also note how great that album art work is, really like that image.

Time and Time again I am in awe how musicians conceptualise and execute complicated arrangements of various instruments that arrive in my ears through headphones and give me chills down the spine. With this song alone I would pinpoint 4 or 5 different moments that sound ridiculously beautiful, but I won't and let you discover for yourself. Thank you very much for the music

It's so weird... I look up google to see how to cope in a dystopian world, and I am of course, a Be'lakor fan although not in a traditional way, such that I've obsessively listened to about 7-8 songs by them over the years, one on loop every day for two months at least as I was contemplating my own ultimate exit, so I've kind of devolved my love for music down to therapy, and it's weird that this song I've heard for the first time off this old album, was in my feed right after search. The algorithm has become scary. My gender's soon going to be replaced by bots, it'll all sneak in in broad daylight when my species' other gender thinks nothing of it because they are safe yet, as it's always been between the powerful and the powerless, rich vs poor and poor vs poorer, young vs old and boss vs subordinate and the subordinate vs his subordinate, master vs slave, slave vs his wife, on and on, everyone in their own good time, thus it'll sneak in in broad daylight, lay itself onto you, subsume and do you in, you'll have no sympathy the way you've offered none, no physical body to teach empathy and restart, in your own good time. I'd once said, from an older and now deleted account, that Kosmas was a poet. I cannot ever know what he's talking about but when delivered as part of this incredible music and in words that convey an unmistakable atmosphere despite the intended ambiguity, I remember that it's the atmosphere along with the ground I stand on from which all life springs, it's all stardust combinations charted on what we call the periodic table, energy and the different ways in which it condenses and takes form and then combines with its other forms... It really doesn't matter, the mechanism is the same, the way that atmosphere and what it encloses and subsumes function is the same. It doesn't matter what he says when what I can take from it is limited to me as well as what he could possibly say, to him. Doesn't matter what it sneaks up on first but that it sneaks, same dystopia as it was, has been and will be. Might as well enjoy the fact that those like me will abandon the game first, by force or will. In this continuity, with the same boring game that doesn't care about you and will prevail, with your reflection in the mirror telling you that you somehow still exist, it doesn't matter at all when you wake up. Once you do, you can never get back. And it's a dystopia from then on till the world does away with you and you, with the world. The blink of an eye becomes endless torture, but see, that blink is all you've ever known, and that’s why you created the word "long". Some things just take too long in that blink.
