Me at the bar with my metal friends: - Have you heard Be'Lakor? No? They have this album called Vessels. Their second track is about hydrogen. No no hear me out, its an epic story of the birth of our Sun. And it ends on its way to Earth. No, let me finish *burp*. The next song is really good. It's about a plant. Srsly though the poetry in Vessels is insane. Best story telling metal band I have ever heard.
I love this band and this album. This is storytelling in it's finest, just amazing music. This is why I only listen to these types of Metal music. The lyrics, with no offensive language, just like poetry. With meaning and something you can learn from these lyircs/story
Does anyone know if they still have their regular jobs? Last time I remember, at least before Vessels, they were working full-time while writing for the band.
Those 10 months are over now :D but at least they gave some feedback from the studio meanwhile. It will be album of the year, no matter which year they will finally release it.
a hymn, a legacy that should be heard by those who come after us and those who still do not believe in the miracle of life and nature. long live belakor.
Fantastic atmosphere, beautiful riffs, 4:51 kills me every time When I listen to this song, I feel connection to something much more beautiful and meaningful than everything out there Only a few bands can make me feel something similar.
Greetings from Finland with far more metal bands per capita that any other country in the world. This was amazing, keep up doing what you're doing so well.
I didn't know this band until a few days ago. It was a cool surprise, I don't know why but I expected some inaudible black metal xD This is truly great music. I also love the lyrics videos. Time to go back and hear the full albums!!! :D
Best songwriting. Best Lyrics. Best Music-Atmosphere. Best Prog death metal Band. #belakorband, some news on the horizon? Greetings from italy, i love you guys!
this really is a fuckin superb mix. vocals sound rough like omnium gatherum but without being up-mixed to the point of just sounding abrasive and hoarse. keep the subtle nuance guys, it's what makes you amazing
Since I discovered this band last year, I've been listening all 4 records on rotate almost every day for the past 6 months.... (all this while I'm waiting for the new Paradise Lost album). I don't like any other melodeath band mainly because of the vocals ( cleans too cheesy or growls too dry). Be'lakor is just perfect, you can distinguish clearly every instrument, all well balanced. I specially love the guitars and bass. I hope they release a new album this year too.
I fucking love Vessels. The storytelling is fenomenal. I cant wait for what next that they will release. These lyrical videos is what I need during times like this. Surprisingly so many details in the videos that rhimes well with my own ideas when hearing these songs for the first time.
thanks for all the lyrics video's . as soon as this covid shit is over and you get to touring again , there is NO excuse for anyone to not belt along your songs
Why would you post this old-ish song (definitely not complaining) as a lyric video? This makes me very suspicious... Very suspicious... Are you preparing us for THAT day...
I think it is in the lost Book of Enoch: '' And the Angels cut down all the trees''.. I dont know why they would to it, but this song reminds me of this..
