exelente idea amigo la mejor que he visto vi que usaste motores de plumas de los carros es mejor menos amperaje y controlas la velocidad el sensor podria ser aplicado para ser controldado con un smarphone agragale la modificacion que te digo y de ahi exelente usar ese tipo de motor internamente tiene una rueda dentada y un tornillo sinfin que no es necesariamente usar freno pq trabado exelente amigo de mi parte mil likes

"Design and Fabrication of Smart Wheelchair". We designed and fabricated a smart wheelchair which can be driven using joystick or head-joystick (head gesture navigation). Stair climbing mechanism has also been integrated.
