I think it’s also that he works out as well, combining weight work with bar work I’m really not surprised he has callouses...it’s the same kind of thing that happens on guitar players fingers, just the skin layers hardening to create a protective layer, I won’t lie and say it’s not uncomfortable but his hands will be fine so long as he keeps the hand cream application up ☺️
