Nothing we haven't really heard or known before but the way Mr. Spina delivered it is very unique. Tapping into our Higher Selves (and staying there, carrying out every chore from that heart-centered consciousness), is certainly The Ultimate Goal/ Challenge. It makes me change my mind about this year's New Year Resolution. How about I create one (we are only a few weeks in, so I'm still allowed, right?).... *ASK EACH TIME, - 600 TIMES A DAY IF NEED TO - WHAT WOULD MY HIGHER SELF DO?* I shall report back in the summer time if I had succeeded. 21:18 THAT IS THE KEY!!! Don't give in to the craving!!! I used that very method to get over my nicotine addiction, my addiction to alcohol and also helped me lose and keep off 60 pounds. When I felt a craving come on, I did not react and give in, I said with determination to my body craving an emphatic, "NO!" and I could physically feel the craving break and dissipate. It felt like the craving/rush that was in my chest would peak and quickly disperse. I first did this with cigarettes, and after doing this for about two weeks, I no longer had any cravings to smoke. I quit cold turkey in 1999 and have never fallen off the wagon. I then used this same method to lose weight and get off of alcohol. The key is you have to mean it when you say no to the body craving. Will power is the force that overcome the cravings.
That's the right path. There's a secret that really isn't a secret.. it's only a secret because people have cynical minds and scoff at the truth when they read it. This material realm sucks us in, and people hurt us, so we become untrusting, we only trust what we can prove. But, scripture tells us that one of the first things we need to do is to overcome the desires of the flesh and gain control over our minds and bodies. Both are only tools for this realm. We are light beings made in the image of our creator and placed into temples of flesh. We were before we were placed into these temples of flesh, and we will continue on after these temples are done. We're in a symbiotic relationship with these bodies, and these bodies reflect our true selves through it's image in the face. The flesh is alive, and it wants everything, every experience that it's not afraid of. But. It is us within That's supposed to be in control.
@LeahIsHereNow The truth is, alcohol ( al-kul) "I'll kill All" Destroys billions of Brain cells, ya kinda need to keep as many as you can hang onto to survive this incarnation lol... In truth alcohol is a great sterilization tool for for surgical instruments needed to perform life saving operations and piecing broken torn or damaged bodies together, but it's a slow poison when consumed even " moderately" Becoming mindful of the truth about what you choose to consume this time around will help accelerate your Ascension. The collection of objects ....that's it's identity...but it is not the objects .it's the space...the space of the room is awareness...the room itself can and has been constructed many many ways ...we are the awareness of the expensive not the object in it
Yes. Experiencing the I Am in a conscious way is our reason for 3D experience as Source knowing itself moment by moment. It's exhilarating and calm simultaneously. I'm actually addicted to that sensation of Being🤭. it does feel wonderful and free. Its when I feel sovereign thru my consciousness. I understand now that life is supposed to be fun and expansive and it really does feel so good to be alive in a 3D experience!🎉

I just legit found him.. he's a confirmation of what I couldn't share with anyone else 😮 .. like two puzzle pieces welding together. I momentarily had an existential crisis.. getting more and more unplugged from Matrix.. no one to tell 😂
When I started fasting...for longer periods of time, for some reason...it helped me break most addictions. I feel that it is because our stomache is our solar plexus...and we strengthen it by fasting (autophagy). Also, it wasn't just fasting...I tried to just feel what I was feeling....so many tears of pain...100 pounds later, it has helped, but only when I pushed through the discipline.
Because that discipline is the key. You must gain control over our fleshly desires. Take control over your mind and body. When we first start learning meditation, it's the same. We want to sit on silence and listen for God. But our mind has to have some entertainment. It gets bored. It starts asking questions, or flashing memories. Actually tell it,"be still. Be quiet. " Read the red words in the kjv and the gospel of Thomas. See if you don't find instructions. Like, You are gods. You can perform even greater miracles than I. But first you must BELIEVE... Do as I fo, follow me.. Walk the narrow path within that leads to the small door. Knock upon it and I will come and sup with you, and you with me. "
This guy RJ is incredible. Bought both of your books. 52:15 This is a game of self mastery. Wake up from the dream. We are limitless . Left my body 30 years ago and have been trying to get back there ever since. Thank You RJ you are an absolute treasure. We need more like you, with all the corruption and manipulation in our Government. Surf it and ride the wave. Detachment is the key.
Correct. Our flesh temples are only the instrument we use to navigate this material realm, however they are alive, and have their own feelings and desires. They taste something sweet, fir instance, and want more. All the time. For the body, if a little is good, UT thinks a lot is better. The brain might actually know better. But it gives in to the comfort or pleasure. We are the light being within living a symbiotic life with the flesh we possess... and that's exactly what it is too... a possession. So, we , our true light body selves, must take control of this flesh animal we possess, it it's brain. We can think separately from the Brain. We think the little voice within is the hitchhiker.. but it only appears that way. That is a powerful illusion... until you see you've been viewing a reflection. That voice we must overcome and control. One of the first things we must do is overcome the desires of the flesh and deny that voice that tells us we really want whatever negative pleasure it's after.. sex.. alcohol.. sugar... We can't really even start true meditation, or sitting in the spirit, until we first learn the reigns... a horse is massive... but once you build a relationship with it and learn the reigns, you can control it with a 1 inch piece of leather or a handful of mane. This is much the same. Read the red words in the kjv Bible and read the gospel of Thomas. Write down everything a material cynical mind would scoff at and refuse. Like, "you are gods." And, "you can create even greater miracles than I. You only must BELIEVE. " Those things are the truth the flesh cannot accept. The instructions you've been looking for.

Hi Guy, what a fantastic podcast! It brought back memories of when I attended your 5-day retreat in August 2022. On the first day, we were asked to declare who we were. My initial choice was "authenticity," but as I stood in front of the class, I realised that I felt like I was faking it. With a little encouragement from Matt, I switched to another word that resonated more genuinely with me, and that word was "freedom." Since the retreat, my life has undergone some very positive yet unexpected transformations. I now find myself in the midst of a metamorphosis, questioning deeply where I stand. I think that once you touch and consider this topic, tha step forward is "TO STOP" looking for informations, hoping to find the one that can heal, or wake up or in any case, take you away from where you are. This is the drive of our mind, always tryng to escape, and now, with all this amount of new informations the game repeat its self. I don't want to deny the healing, or the capacity of this man to help people, but at the core of all this, I think we need to look better in the deep of our cultural system....always tryng to reach, to grasp, to get something, I think that real surrender it's another kind of mouvment inside and is so so subtle, thin, as precious it is. Glad RJ brought up the lethargy that surfaces w/the exercises in CHANGE YOUR MIND. FELT that. Have had my own experiences since about 4 or 5. RJ's are more vivid & plentiful, but I've had similar. Great interview, thank you. The process he describes very much is what Vipassana meditation is about - developing equanimity towards thoughts/ feelings/ sensation to eventually transcend those and access the truth of who we were beyond our attachments (cravings and aversions). Its exciting to know we can go beyond our conditioning and let our true nature bloom like he says, without having to effort it. ❤

The Negative Ego. The hard drive for all our trauma limiting beliefs . Program within The hard drive keeps repeating until we see consciously and be a compassionate observer, remembering this is not the "I am" rather just a program running within the subconcious.. Addiction is a program and when we are aware of this we can consciously make our choices. Just found you guys today. Good interview 😊

Ugh!! I'm in the void! I feel alone and holding onto God so much for the spark of my true self to ignite. To be the true vision I was created to be but the EGO is really fighting me.
I am glad he said this "We can't move past what we don't understand." Because my biggest question had been "Why" is it like this. Why is there so much abuse here. And that has been most of my journey. From Physiology to conspiracy rabbit holes. Only I was doing the "blame game" for most of it. Once you stop the blame game, you can finally look within yourself and start the "How to change" part .
@GuyLawrencePodcast interesting, but confusing. So you measured your system's frequency and represented it through light and color, or is this a direct picture of your neural frequency? Not sure how the latter is possible 🤔. Of course, that light appeared in front of a blank wall during my meditation, so I suppose the latter is possible.

if u put ur attention on feeling how ur breathing feels and combine that with feeling the living energy (sensations) that is always subtly moving in & just around & throughout ur entire body, just feeling this, not creating anything or thinking about it, just allowing this awareness of energy to be, ebbing & flowing as it will..is a dual process of a turning towards to direct experience & a turning away from conceptual thinking (wordplay) & accompanying imagery.. Edit: btw, the ego mind [ the voice(s) in ur head] will tell u that that's nonsense & that it, the mind, just needs to think about it some more to arrive at any *_real_* solutions..😎
Vagueness after the enlightenment is what put people off from approaching it in the first place. After loosing all the attachments, cravings, zest of life what’s left of it? Lots people became hermits and diametrically opposed to the 3D world, cuz everything is perfect even tho everything is messed up when they perceive things from the total higher perspective, what’s the need to improve anything? Since things will eventually change by itself

I feel so much at ease hearing how it is normal to be not doing anything and not knowing what to do for work at the initial stage of awakening.... i felt like I had been hibernating for more almost 2 years, and waiting to discover my passion, my calling, but sometimes i have friends who will tell me i need to take action rather than wait for it... but this podcast has given me clarity... that the pull will come... this is so good to know.
