All I keep saying is thank you to these comments but I really mean it. It’s really nice to hear that the content is having an impact on people, even if it is small, it means the world to me. Thank you thank you thank you
Such a good video from an incredibly small channel, I didn,'t even notice the low view count until I was halfway through the video. Narration and editing is on par with other youtubers analyzing movies or shows. Please keep up the good work, this deserves to blow up in the algorithm!
We are so CLOSE to this...well, not the robot body part, but everything up until that. You could almost see this as a version of that same person, just with partial amnesia.
This was the first episode of black mirror I ever watched, and I'm glad, because people who start with the actual first episode, which I still haven't seen, usually are reluctant to watch any more.
Another problem with this kind of tecnology would be people trying to 'recreate' their favourite media personalities. Streamers in particular since their audiences tend to ve very parasocial. I guess if a program like this existed they should have a way to geniunely prove they are somehow related to the person they're replicating
Only 240 subscribers? We gotta change that shit boys. we can make a difference in at least one person's life, and can get some great content out of it so please subscribe. If you can spare the effort that is
I don't really know what to say to a comment like this. If you want you can SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSMASH that SUBSCIRBOEIB but honestly this videos already doing better than I could've asked for, so thank you for your kindness and your support! I've been making videos since I was in primary school so I know by this point that I'm only doing it because I love it, and will keep doing it no matter what numbers I get. The most subs i've ever got on a channel is 80, so i've already beaten my goal. Still though, I've never seen feedback like this before, so it will stay in my heart for the rest of my life. Thank you!
You say this technology will come to exist in a few years... What if I tell you it already does? HereAfter AI is a chatbot with that purpose and Re;memory by Deep Brain AI tries to incorporate image and voice as well.
Just a note, vice literally did a story about this exact service at 6:45 where you send the company sound clips of a deceased loved one and they create an AI model that responds with their voice and mannerisms.
It so is. The first time I heard that scream at the end was just.. I don’t know. It’s such a different ending to other episodes of Black Mirror. It’s just so human. And right? That would be such a strange childhood to have, I don’t know how I’d explain that
I think AI would be a lot better than Ash-bot was. People already love confiding in AI chatbots. Even Elisa was confided it and that wasn't even very sophisticated "AI".
as someone who has dealt with losing people, i understand the temptation this would cause and in a moment of weakness i could see myswlf trying it. however, as a long term solution it would creep me the fuck out after like a couple of guilty texts and id throw it all in the trash and unsubscribe lol
Your narration was really great! It was pleasant to listen to (not meaning that the subject was nice it’s rather sad/heavy) & u brought ur points across well :) Keep up the good work ^^
amazing video i got recommended your channel by RU-vid and I am loving it. for me personally i think that we wouldnt be able to move on because even though we know that the person sadly does not exist anymore our brain would still recognize that we can talk to them therefore they are alive i personally dont think this tech should even be made because it gives you a false hope of your loved ones coming back
I fully agree with your personal opinion (that you disagree with such an idea) concerning the fact that you would be able to communicate with a loved one who has passed away. Grieving is not an easy thing to do, but you have to understand that the deceased have to also rest in peace and you have your life still ahead of you. Great video.
Funny, Junji ito has a manga touching a similar premise. Basically some popular guy dumps a girl and leaves her with a tape record to replace him, so that "she will not miss him that way" So the girl kills the guy and ends up replacing him with the tape.
Oh LORD. I've only read The Enigma of Amigara fault and I still think about that one today. Was really hoping the netflix anime would cover that episode because I will 100% make a video about it if they do. I'll have to check out more of his stuff, but at the same time im kind of scared to 😬
I haven't seen like any black mirror mostly cause i think the general themes are off putting. In the sense that its just uncomfy but I have seen a few analysis and this is a great one. You're absolutely right tho that its one of the scariest cause its not far from being a reality, especially reading the comments and hearing that most of this is already kinda a reality. Absolute mindfuck. Excellent video! Keep it the fuck up!
had this on in the background and you really drew me in, was surprised when I checked and saw the views. I hope you get a chance to grow further because I love this sort of content :)
Just saying this was recommended to me on RU-vid from my home page so your algorithm is working! :D Wishing you luck in growing the channel. Also this episode of Black Mirror really hit me hard, i'm so glad to hear this story again even though it truly breaks my heart to relive this story. I unfortunately have lived long enough to have loved ones taken from me, and i must mention how incredibly hard it would be for me to resist signing up to this offer if it was made available to me.
Thank you! It is a really tough episode, just because of how realistic it is. Can’t imagine what that’d be like, and I know I will one day but still not sure how’d I’d feel about it
@@unprocreations It's seriously a great show, there's a few episodes that are a bit of a mindfuck so I'd love to see what you think of them especially after seeing this analysis. Keep up the good work, man!
Its such a good episode with so much to talk about, had to try hard to not make this analysis as long as the episode itself honestly! And with how prominent AI has become over the past few years, it's definitely interesting and like you said, scary.
@UnProCreations I'm literally watching ai presidents rn, makes me think of the relic from cyberpunk 2077 was marketed as a way to talk to deceased family members and ended up being a curse as the technology was literally overwriting your brain like a game save the absolute multi-tool that is AI is more dangerous than nukes apparently
