Bea Benaderet wasn't worried about anyone stealing her scenes in Petticoat Junction

I sure did enjoy Petticoat Junction. And Bea. Wonderful actress. As for the dog. He's my favorite character. So cute and funny 😁 He had little costumes and everything. 💕

She also claimed Herself in a interview that The TRAIN was the Star as you covered in another episode. 🤓😎✌🏼

Petticoat Junction wasn't quite the same after Bea Benaderet and Smiley Burnette passed away.

I saw an interview with Frank Inn the owner and trainer for most of the animals on the Filmways lot and he said the dog’s name was Higgins. Have a great day!

I can't recall any kids on this show all seasons until the last season when they had a baby. 🤗

Give credit to Frank Inn for how well he trained Higgins (the dog). Higgins later starred in "Mooch Goes to Hollywood" and the first "Benji" movie. Frank Inn can be seen briefly in the opening of "Benji" as Benji waits to cross a street.

Higgins was amazing I wonder if dogs like that exist today. I had a miniature collie mix as a youngster she would go under the water and bring back the rock I tossed in Wish there was a way to video it back then. Keep the faith brother.

Reminds me of the show Frasier and how they were all jealous of Eddie (Moose) the dog. He was such a 🎬 scene stealer!!!
