Seeing it was a dream, I don't think it's ancestral worship or consulting with familiar spirits. The same Bible it says young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams (Acts 2:17) as was prophesied in Joel 2:28. This era is prophecy revealing.

@@KarlaBedminister God gives dreams and the devil gives dreams, one needs discernment to know the difference between the two. That's the devil's nature, counterfeiting and perverting everything that God made and every thing that God does. As someone who dabbled in new age practices for a little while myself, I learned the difference from my own personal experience. In 2017 I had various items in my apartment that opened up the door to demonic entities such as crystal and dream catcher jewelry, and clothing from the brand Obey. That brand has the face of a demon on many of the articles of clothing, (the older pieces had the face just on a tag on the inside of a jacket for example). My sister and I saw it in our rooms, on different occasions, and in different households. So when the Holy Spirit led me to get rid of those things and go on a liquid fast, the amount of dreams I had increased dramatically. By the end of that year, within a matter of 4 months I had a notebook full of dreams that I could remember. Simply heading God's warnings enabled me, all of a sudden, to have the ability to see into the future of my life and my immediate family's lifes. This gave me the power to break generational curses and covenants that I unknowingly came into by way of my dreams. Communing with the dead is really forming a covenant with demons, these beings are referred to as familiar spirits. The Bible talks about how the devil can present himself as an angel of light. Ewing's channel is a great resource. Another person that I found very useful when I was leaving the new age is Steven Bancarz. He used to be a very well known and successful new age teacher that is now a follower of Jesus Christ. Likewise Doreen Virtue also came out of the church of scientology, and she interviews many people on her channel that came out of everything from witchcraft, to heretical christian organizations and more.

@@ChristsChemist The key word is dream, not searching or conversing. My relatives also got dreams to heal themselves and name their babies. None was part of new age or scientology or mediums or nothing of the sort. I myself get dreams regularly which I too record in an exercise book and try looking for the meaning as time goes by.

Any form of contact with the deceased be it eating something they give you, hugging, talking, sex, being present during a satanic ritual etc. All are ways the devil and his minions uses to bypass your defenses and get you to come into covenant with them. Essentially the same tactic he used with Eve and Adam in the garden of Eden is the same thing he does today but he's using things that entice men in our time. Witchcraft, the prosperity gospel, yoga, the law of attraction, meditation, lucid dreaming, the music industry, the fashion industry, are just a few of the tools that he uses.
