Think you for the reply nothing like getting away and seeing places like in Mexico these videos teaches and make you feel safe and also let's you know that the people are nice and gives good housepitality to travelers and that pump the gas for you in the us the only place l know that still does that is Oregon Portland so keep it up God bless you guys and stay safe out there.

Thanks! We were there in the middle of October and the temperature was between 85-90F. There were a few windy days but still nice and the water was nice and warm for swimming/snorkeling :) The Starlink is working great here in Mexico! If you’re coming for longer than 2 months you may want to get the roaming plan( we didn’t and it still works fine)😎👍🏽

It’s a Starlink and as long as you have a clear view of the sky it works great!

There are plenty of purification water stations where they can fill jugs and sometimes trailer/camper tanks. It’s drinkable water but we would still buy water for us to drink because we sometimes connect directly at an rv park. That said water, even alkaline is super cheap in Mexico. There are enough rv parks throughout Baja, which are generally $15-25 a night, however I’m sure you can stop and ask to dump for a fee. We actually have a composting toilet so it’s less of an issue. Primitive campsites run around $10-15 (there are also wild camping sites if you use iOverlander). And the roads have greatly improved, especially the 5 down to the one. However we highly suggest only driving during the day and there will be some sections where the main road is being repaved. Happy to answer any more questions! We used a port poti and dug a hole and buried the sewage. That was about 17 years ago and the road was not paved at all past Puertocitos.

Thank you!! When are you going?! And I got the sun hat at a Marshall’s, but I saw a few in San Felipe when we were there. There you’ll spot them rolled up ;) or maybe try Amazon. Glad someone likes my big hat - if you’re a high bun girl, it’s a must!

I wouldn’t recommend:/ the hill that you have to go over to get to the beach is rutted and rocky. I had to use 4 wheel drive to get up and over. There is camping just down the road that is more suitable for bigger rigs👍🏽

We weren’t worried about it at all. Felt safe the entire trip. There are many people traveling to Baja every year and rarely does anything like that happen👍🏽

We agree the menu was pricy but well worth it. 👌🏼

I've been going to Alphonsinas since the early nineties. Haven't been in about 10 years but we used to get a huge fresh fish and shrimp dinner for 4 with margaritas for around $60. Times have changed since Alphonsina died and her boys took over.
