Hey hyro - a few folks have said the beach at the marriot stellars abs the water are not as good as down by the Hilton. Is this true ? They. Both look like white sand. Some marriot videos I’ve watched the water is crystal clear. Others it is murky. What’s the truth ?

Yes conditions may very once you get in the water and changes every so often. I do believe by the Hilton is better but around the Marriott it's not bad at all. In the past I felt it was very muddy near the Hyatt.

Hey Ron, I don't have a huge issue with seaweed myself but I know some folks freak out when they see it. They told me the fishes name but I can't recall it right now :-( Yes I do miss the quiet areas at Palm Beach. We used to go a lot to the beach next to the Holiday Inn or where the Moomba Beach Bar is nowadays. I loved it there.

Good question Mary-Jo, I did not continue my walk towards it. The Holiday Inn which is next door to the Playa Linda looked better. I do believe the Playa Linda has those beach cleaning machines so I would assume they should be fine. Depending on my schedule I might do an update. Hope to see you!

:-) Thanks D! The last storm that passed close to us was about a month ago. This is another issue though, just changing winds in this part of the Caribbean. It's not unusual for this time of the year. At some areas they let nature take care of itself (no cleaning) but at the hotels they are usually cleaned within a few days unless the problem is really big. Some hotels do the cleanup much quicker then others. The government will take care of the other beaches. Sometimes it's also just the locals citizens that will help.
