What a wonderful video Patty, absolutely love your Florida memories, I was trying to work out when we took our family trip and then you said Hogsmead we were there the year before when that building that area. Howdy, Possum Patty! I have cross stitched for YEARS and I learned to work with a hoop then later on I started using all kinds of frames and such. I saw your video where you purchased this project and decided I'd try one of the stamped cross stitch kits they offered. I don't know about yours but mine came and it is way too stiff to go in any of my frames. It will not bend and doesn't want to allow the hoop or frame to tighten up with it to make the fabric taunt like I"m use to. I am considering putting it into a stretcher type frame but after reading my instructions on my kit (I never do that until I'm in trouble, lol!), it says right off the bat not to use a frame! So maybe these kind of kits aren't suppose to be put on a frame. Also, I believe mine is suppose to be stitched with 3 strands of floss-first time I've ever done anything with 3 strands. I am a little worried that after working on this material for a while if the symbols might rub off-you've had yours longer than me and gotten to take it to the beach and places, any sign of fading symbols? I haven't done much on mine and I did it with no hoop and only 2 strands. I'm going to do the rest with 3 strands and maybe a stretcher frame just because mine is large like yours and I'm having trouble hanging onto it due to my arthritis. Love your videos, especially the ones about your yard and whats growing there!
