Hello She Detector. On the detector bag, My buddy, Crusty Clad made me a couple of coil caps with some stretchy fabric. He made it using my idea of using a shower cap over the search coil. It just wraps around the coil with an elastic center to keep it on. Handy when there are no showers to rinse the sand off the coil. Keeps it in place till you get home. Great video. _/ 👍🏻

It’s easier to rinse the coil at shore before leaving. By the time you walk to the car it’s dry.

@@mrBDeye I agree, but if you have a coil cover and don’t want to remove it, it will hold sand and water. Sometimes I find myself away from the water to dip it, so I let it drip to the car and cover it or lay it on a large plastic bag on the back floorboard, till I get home to rinse it thoroughly.

If you were only looking for something to go from like to your house to the beach, and then from the beach back to your house and not have sand, why get something extravagant a garbage bag would work just to keep sand from going in your car I love your videos keep them coming.

Hi She Detector, have you considered a plastic tote container? They come in various lengths and sizes and usually have a lid. My wife and I use them for dive gear. It appears your vehicle is big enough to hold a tote without issue. I have one 33" long by 13" wide by 10" deep so if you collapse the detector it should fit in and you then can close the lid with only the scoop handle sticking out. To most thieves it would look like a cheap shovel in a tote thus not appealing. Best part is that you can take it out of the vehicle and put fresh water in it to rinse your detector off. Hope this helps.

I use a scuba bag that's solid on the bottom and mesh on top, so it keeps the sand in, but I can turn it upside down when I want and shake the sand out. It's not as long, but if I collapse or separate the shaft, the detector fits fine. I have a smaller drawstring bag I just put over the end of my scoop to contain the sand. I need one of those graphite handles for it. I'm using a wooden shovel handle and it can get heavy during a long session at the beach.

SHE DETECTOR - Baseball Edition Your channel is always a “hit” ! The weather definitely wasn’t “foul”. You didn’t “strike out” on your finds. I’d say you hit a “home run” with the detector bag and you definitely didn’t make any “errors” !!!

all the detector bags i looked at required me to collapse the tube so the detector would fit. i briefly looked at snowboard bags since they can get pretty long. the bag that you highlight seems pretty good.

well you found some coins and thats good and thats a nice carry bag. ive got a similar one i use for traveling to the beach and packing in my car whne traveling 260 miles to the beach in my trunk. nice video thanks for sharing
