Metal detecting at Manhattan Beach, California with the Minelab X-Terra Pro & Equinox 800 metal detectors. Although it was slim pickings, who do you think had the better find?
We went to the beach a day after the storm. You would not even know we had a storm.

I loved that Asian coin from a necklace. Thanks for getting all that trash off the beach, ESPECIALLY that long needle. That could have sent someone to the emergency room. Beautiful day at the beach; thanks for the views and for getting Gary back in line! 🐦

Just another day at the beach... My last beach trip was mostly bottle caps (like a couple dozen) and that beach is only about 100 yards long. Was interested to see a day-after-the-storm hunt and I was surprised there wasn't more sand movement. Like you said, "You would not even know we had a storm..." Thanks for tidying up, and finding a couple cool things. Cheers!

If the ring was silver, I would give it to Christine. If not, I think I’d rather find that coin pendent because it’s really unique and I’d give it to Bill. Either way, a fun hunt!

That's a modern machine struck good luck charm in the style of (pre-1912) Chinese imperial (cast - mold poured) coinage. Bigger than the usual quarter sized ones, it can be found for a few dollars. What a great detecting find!

Always look those cigarette packs over good, I once found one and in it was two $20 bills folded up and tucked in the cellophane but I didn't see them at first because it came up with them on the bottom side. And I'm sorry Christine, but I got to go with the coin being the winning item of the day on this hunt.
