While I'm glad to finally get the DLC i paid for, i can't help but agree with others that the core game should be completed first (modding, performance, bugs). This pack also looks a little barebones judging by this trailer 😬

People asking about modding and bug fixes. There's a forum in the description that says the first beta of Modding is coming along side this on the 25th of March. And also a "substantial" amount of performance improvements particularly on "low end systems" EDIT: looks like Map / Asset Editor is also arriving. As well as three explainer videos about the modding tools on the 19th, 20th and 21st of March. Just writing this so y'all don't complain that much 😅

I get peoples frustration. But people the design asset workers arent the ones who would otherwise be working on performance improvements. You dont call a plumber to do electrical work.

I really really hope that CS2 can grow to a fully functioning game. I have thousands of hours in CS1 and happily paid for the DLCs because I felt I supported a dev that cared and a game I liked. It was cheap at launch and became a great game. But the launch of CS2 just feels dirty and like corporate money-grabbing (Thanks Paradox!). Now you have to play your cards right to win over the core players/modders/streamers again. This should be free for starters with a big fat apology letter attached. Please be the good guys!

I know they painted themselves into a corner and only have themselves to blame, but, if you look at Reddit and other places you get a split in the comments They announce they are concentrating on bugs, people ask where is Modding and Asset packs They announce they are working on Modding, people ask about Bugs and Asset packs. They announce an Asset pack, people ask about Modding and Bugs. Maybe all we can do is see if they can dig themselves out of the hole they created and eventually deliver a come back along the lines of No Man's Sky. We can hope

Colossal Order, please remember, many players arent hard core mod fans, or arent into too much detailing. We like to play the game as a simulation. More building variety is a must. We'd like also better terraforming tools, better looking building lots on uneven terrain, and be able to plop smaller public service buildings (smaller medical facilities, smaller schools, and so on).

I purchased all dlc for CS1 on PC and console so I'm what you call a customer. To not have even an update on the console version of CS2 is a slap in the face.

Here's some DLC for an incomplete game. Paid DLC I really don't get what happened to video games but sequals used to be complete games and not 2 years away from being a finished product.

Let me get this straight, it's 20 assets for two regions, which in turn means you only see 10 assets of whichever region you pick. They claim there are 60 assets, but only 20 are unique, and the other 40 are just level up varient. And 4 palms tree which look like shorter or taller variety. This is peak gaming.

Its cool we get so many buildings, but the rest is a bit underwhelming... No props???

Did you know still no upgrade Ultimate Edition in steam? CO?

When are you going to deliver the modules we already paid for? I am not expecting you to fix the game anymore because this is past now but still you are liable to deliver what you have been paid already.

DLC is a little fast but I’m not a game maker so what do I know. As a consumer I’ll tell you I look forward to playing your game on console. I just hope all these concerns people bring up are addressed sooner, ya know before you ask people for more money lol.

Will this get added to the basegame for everyone or only for deluxe edition?

I want to support this game but it is far from finished. There are still bugs and missing "promise" features. Is this the same as the free assets that were advertised last year? Where are they? And where is the modding tool? I don't think releasing a paid DLC help in your situation. If it was a finished game, nobody would mind supporting the DLC. This is a pretty questionable decision after all the backlash the publisher got.

When is the PS5 version coming out instead of making mod pack?

For the same price of this DLC, you can just purchase Cities: Skylines 1, which already comes bundled with 4 palm trees.

Can you use a terrain brush for sand or concrete like in the first game? I don't remember seeing one. Otherwise how do you create proper beaches? The game still has no support for quays either

Is the game even fixed yet to be playable ? I dropped it since Xmas and its bugs and complete omission of content.

And we're still waiting for consoles and mac support ! :D Hope it'll be there before 2100...

Really excited for this dlc! Thank you for continuing to pour your hearts into developing this game to be the best it can be. I personally am part of a perhaps less vocal group of players who thoroughly enjoy CS2 and am comfortable waiting for the game to improve more and more over time. And if any of the devs are reading this, please don't view any of your missteps or failures as insurmountable. Some of the greatest achievements in life have come from people who learned greatly from their mistakes, and humbly but confidently continued forward with their goals and dreams. I hope in a few years time this will be the clear story arc of CS2 as well. You've built the foundation for one of the best games of all time, but made some mistakes along the way, and now you get to learn and grow and be humble and thrive and hopefully take the game to greater heights than you ever would have without the adversity. Rooting for you!

What about consoles? Kinda feeling left out on Xbox 😢
