Join us beachcombing for seaglass on a Welsh beach. Coney Beach at Porthcawl, South Wales has such a lot to offer. We decided to visit there to do some beachcombing and weren't disappointed! We found more seaglass than usual and also some other interesting things.
Join us as we find interesting things to do, see and eat! We have another channel, based on our EBay reselling business. Even so, there is more to life. All work and no play...well, you know the rest.
We love travel, adventure and interesting things to do. We are starting our channel now, with the intention of it becoming full time when we go on the road throughout Europe in our motorhome/RV when we retire in 1 years time. Till then, we are going to find loads of interesting things to do here in the UK.
If you have any suggestions of ideas for us to try out or places to visit, let us know in the comments. We love to hear from our viewers!
We love to metal detect! Do you have some land you would be willing to let us detect on? If so, please let us know :)

I really enjoy these beach-combing videos. When I was a youngster, we stayed in Laugharne in South Wales for our holidays in the late 80s and early 90s. A great place for unusual finds was Ginst Point. On the road out of Laugharne, heading towards Pendine, I remember a left turn and a long road down towards the sea. Not sure if you can still get to the area these days, but with the tideline changing daily it was an awesome adventure for us kids 😀

According to a report if found in the daily mail there were WW2 defences laid on portcawl beach to stop invading tanks. There were worries of an invasion after Dunkirk and these concrete shapes may be part of those defences. The metal with the circular holes in looked like sand channels, used to drive on sand. Maybe from ww2 or perhaps forgotten after freeing a stuck vehicle.

That looks like a radio tube for an old crystal radio used in the war. The metal with the holes was used as a track way by military vehicles to keep from sinking in the sand. When my husband got back from overseas, we needed two vehicles. I drove an Renault, and he got a used Vespa like the white one. He drove it for years to and from work on a military base. He had to drive 19 miles on a two lane highway at dark to get to work. But it worked for us. That was 35 years ago. We just passed 40 years of marriage.

Can we not leave the decisions as to suitable footwear and whether to wear gloves to these very mature adults who are clearly very able to make their own choices - and indeed to other people too who're also old and educated enough to do so!??? Can we indeed accept the fact that in this life, there is risk, there is the odd accident - from losing toenails to breaking limbs to ..... ?
