Oh Beacon Pines is good! It's a small adventure game basically where the story is told in a novel sort of narrative (though you still move around the characters and everything). But basically, you gradually unlock words throughout the story and you can use those words at major junctions to change the direction the story is gonna go. Like 'x character meeting a sticky end' vs 'x character meeting a fortunate end',

I played this last year. Hearing this video and the other one though I realize the music for whatever reasons didn't stick with me, so it's nice to hear some songs again on their own

the second you mentioned Sly Cooper, it felt like fireworks went off in my brain... in a good way. I remember Sly Cooper from back in the day, so I totally get the connection you made to this song. It's a little more elaborate than the Sly Cooper soundtrack, but the overall feel fits perfectly.
