This was actually my first form of art as a child ( not including lego ) you can really do a lot with it but it never took me that much effort and time, just use the hemma bead pens. Plus if you use the glow in the dark with black in the background you can get some really cool effects.

Pearler beads are like magic when working with kids. When I worked with a latchkey program, some of my most wild kids would calm down instantly when they were doing these!

Me and my sister used to do this all the time, it's really fun in my opinion! I used to also do this at a summer camp. Once you get the hang of it it's fun.

They are easier to work with if you use needle nose tweezers.

I got a good art challenge! Follow a Bob Ross tutorial but! Use beads instead of paint

For me this was playing minecraft at my friend's house until we were told to stop and then going upstairs to make stuff with these beads and begging for my friend's mom to use the iron to melt them. God I love these things. It's more about the memories then anything else really. Pro tip: NEVER do this on carpet. One wrong move and you have to start over and pick beads out of the carpet

I used to do this all the time as a kid! We tended to iron both sides to make sure it wouldn't fall apart but also that it wasn't so melted that the beads looked too round and blotchy by keeping it on the waxpaper, flipping it over, and sandwiching it with another sheet before letting it cool. Not sure if that's what you're supposed to do, but it DOES male them much less likely to crumble apart with handling. I still have a TARDIS that I made in middle school, I think :) Your finished product is so detailed and the largest pearler bead thing I've ever seen in a single piece, Great job!!!

But you also persevere through things to make extraordinary things. The Mordor diorama is what got me going down the rabbit hole in your channel. I LOVED Pearler beads as a kid! I honestly would love to do them again someday, but I have a bad habit of knocking them over/out of place. Also, the peg boards tend to melt with multiple uses.

Do a backwards layers challenge where rather than doing pencil lines first and then line art and colour do it in a order backward like Highlights Shading Lineart Colour And it make no sense but you could also do pencil lines

Jazza, I'm probably not your demographic as I'm 57 years old, but thank you for the laugh today, lol. I really enjoyed watching you struggle with the beads, especially since I was watching while struggling with even tinier beads myself, lol. Two weeks ago I somehow became obsessed with something called Diamond Painting...or rather, I became obsessed with ordering Diamond Painting kits. My orders took their time in the mail so I ran to the dollar store and got some "children's" diamond painting kits that are supposedly "easy" and OMG...I had to wear reading glasses AND use a granny magnifier (the kind that hangs around your neck) just to see them. I sounded rather a lot like you when I spilled the tray of beads for the 3rd time, lol. I have no idea how long it will take me to do some of the larger kits I ordered since the dollar store ones were only 6" X 6" and the first one took me 2.5 hours and the second one took almost 4 (had to pick up all the spillage, lol). I probably ordered 4 years worth of kits at my rate, lol. Anyway, if you want something different, give Diamond Painting a go. I challenge you to do a big one, lol. Sorry for writing a book here.
