Materials needed:
4ft. of 8lb. or 10lb. monofilament
28 red - 8/0 or 6/0 seed beads
21 black - 8/0 or 6/0 seed beads
11/0 or 10/0 seed beads
tweezers
I used Czech seed beads to make the ladybug.

Thank you very much! I used two nail colors, diy hard nails gel sky blue on top of that a pink crystal color. P.S. I have always liked you cute doggy photo

You must be a teacher in your day job because you are so good at teaching. I love the lady bug, so cute, but sadly I won't be able to make it because I only have 6 lb monofilament and don't have the good quality, uniform shaped beads. But will enjoy watching your video anyway. I am looking forward to seeing the dragonfly design when you do it. Aleshia, I found those odd size beads you were talking about. They are at Beadaholique. The sizes are :10/0 are in Delica's, 7/0 Czech glass Matuto, 13/0 Czech Charlotte's, 12/0 Czech Tri-cut ,5/0 Miyuki glass round. So there is proof if anyone gives you problems.

i very limited to shop around for 8/0 seed beads. I was thinking that now that I have the Dollar Bead Box and the Dollar Bead Bag subscriptions, I could add on a seed bead subscription too. Are there any you would recommend? I rely on your input so heavily that I don't want to just sign up for just anything. You are an experienced jewelry maker and I trust your judgement. Please let me know your thoughts. I would like to get more seed beads (especially 8/0 and 10/0's) in my inventory. Please help!

They offer a lot of good stuff. www.shipwreckbeads.com/catalog/Beads/Seed-Beads/Rocaille-Seed-Beads/ This place has them on sale right now but you might want to go back and fourth to make sure you are getting the best deal, their sale ends tonight. I also get 10/0 , 6/0 and 2/0 czech seed beads from A.C.Moore and Jo ann's fabric, but only when they go on sale. Have fun shopping hun!!!

I found permanent marker comes off so I used nail varnish which stays on longer
