Thank you, Dianne!! These are the kind of projects I love! You’d think it was so difficult but really is not.. Now, with that being said, I needed better pliers! My Beadalon 6 step will arrive today and my wire work will be so much more efficient! Yay!! I appreciate you, my friend! I hope your day is fantastic!! 🌸❤️
@@CampbellCreations-ByAmy You have found the magic combination, a lot of people think , oh you are just born with it. That's not true, it takes work. You combine great pieces with a lot of enthusiasm, and in a language that makes it easy for people to understand and follow. Your live for the craft shows and is heard in every thing you say- just don't ever lose that!!!! How long have you been making jewelry?
Oh my! At 1st I thought I can't do this, but after listening to your teaching, I'm gonna try it. So beautiful!!! I laugh about hoarding your beads bc I do as well. Join the club!!😂
I’m not alone!!! Thank you, Linda! Bead living means bead collecting..and hoarding! Im SO happy you are going to try this!!!! So so so happy!!! Thank you for your comment and support! 🙌🏼❤️🥰
Amy, this is such an elegant necklace and earring set. Oh my gosh those links are amazing!! I have never seen that style. They make an exciting element to the design. You, my friend, exude creativity. THANK YOU for your talent 💞💙🐭🦋
This is the set I wore today in the Short that I posted announcing the winner. I wear this so much and now need an anklet and bracelet to match! I love playing with wire; I love figuring out new things it can do, different ways to let it be the showcase instead of just being the accent to a bead. Just this morning I figured out a new and super cool way to use it as decorative links and that gives me so much joy. I can't wait to share it with you! Paulette, you always give me such support and I sure hope I can keep giving you pretty and new things to try. Happiness overload every time I see you pop up here. Sending another ((HUG)) because you are awesome, my friend! ❤️ Amy
Thank you so much, Deborah! Stay tuned…I’ll be releasing a tutorial soon with another version of a created link, I’m excited for it! I appreciate your support so much!!! 🙌🏼🥰
You are such a good teacher! This necklace is beautiful and unique! As to your bead collection- it is fabulous! I too, love to look at my beads and hold them in my hands! I love beads, seashells, rocks, and petrified wood. They are truly little works of art!🥀🌼🌷⚘️🌸
Thank you, Theresa! I'll tell you, when I first started playing with wire I thought it was simply a need to understand for that other aspect of jewelry making. Yeah.. fell IN LOVE with it! Just remember when you are starting that it is supposed to be fun, have FUN with it! 🥳💐
Thank you so much, Waneta! I am loving this set and need to start working on a bracelet now. Original plan was a bracelet but decided right before I started that no, lets do a necklace. That's the reason this was so long too but hey, I'm SO happy with it and am thrilled that you are too! 🥰
Me too!!! I love chain as a separate layer as well. I don’t too often make double strand necklaces though I do have one in mind for a tutorial.. I just love chain! I say this about everything is the problem! I love beads and chain and wire so much! 😂🤗❤️
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. It is so wonderful to watch you work without loud noise in the background. You are a blessing for all watching.
Gene, thank you so much!! I am so happy to share and truly appreciate you taking the time to send me this message. I hope you have a great rest of your day, my friend! ❤️🙌🏼
This is gorgeous!! I'm the same way, I give too much. We're not hoarders, we're collectors. My hubby said that he'd get mad about all the beads I "won't" use but then he sees me open something that I haven't looked at in awhile and get just as excited as the day you get them for the first time! 😅 ~ Heather Aston (aka Mama🐻 Aston)
Avonda, I’m oh so happy to share and thrilled that you like what I’m doing!! You make me smile every time I read your comments! Bless you, my friend! I appreciate you so much! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
You are so right! So, originally I was going to do this as a bracelet but as I was making the premade links..I changed my mind! That’s one reason this tutorial is so long too! 🤗❤️ Thank you for all of your support!!
Thank you. I empathize with your bead hoarding instincts. I am new to beading and already foresee a problem. I've been thinking about taking a few of each and make beaded "curtains" for my kitchen that I can add on to as time goes by. I really enjoyed watching you make the chain necklace. I am working a chain bracelet, and it is good to watch someone who knows what she is doing.
Laura I appreciate you! I am no expert, that’s for sure but I absolutely love playing with chain and beads and wire…I just love it all!! Beaded curtains would be SO COOL!! You’ll have to share with us. I am just now opening our Facebook group so you can find it and send me a join request. Just search Campbell’s Creators! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Tracy, I’m so excited!!! Welcome in!! Make sure you throw a comment in the “Special” video! You still have time to be part of that giveaway! I’m so happy you are here and truly appreciate your support! 💯🙌🏼🥰🌸
Very pretty! For the links, I would make the central bend in the wire first. Then I would add one bead and make an end loop. Then I would do the same with the other end. Maybe you’ve tried that already, though. Thanks for sharing!
Jeanette, good thinking, I had not done that! Smart cookie you are, I’m going to try one now thanks to your feedback! Love it!! And I’m so happy to share and appreciate your support! 💯❤️🙌🏼
Hi Amy, how did I miss this tutorial!! Wow!! Gorgeous set and love love love your vintage beads 🩵💚🧡 we have the same taste in beads and I absolutely love your designs 🌸🌼🌸
Sandie, you are such a gem!! I am a nut for my vintage beads..it’s all I can do to control the little squeals that happen when I go through them!! 🤣 I’m so glad you saw this one and I’m SO glad you are here, my friend!! 💯❤️
@@CampbellCreations-ByAmy I’m the same way with my beads. Several times a day I will just stop and look at them and actually get ideas from doing that. I have them in clear organizers so I can peek 👀 in at them lol. I really enjoy your videos a lot my friend 🌸🌼🌸
It’s difficult to see replies with RU-vid. I have to change settings to see them as they don’t notify me. So…I’m just seeing this and I’m sorry for the delay! This happened to me last night. I’m moving around my beading area and realized one of my storage containers were in the back of the shelf..it’s as if I was just gifted beads! So exciting and absolutely sparked a project I’m about to record! Love it!! And I so appreciate you!
😃OMGosh! Thank you so much for sharing. I’m still fairly new to jewelry making (since Aug 2020) and I primarily focused on bead stringing. I have been branching out into wire wrapping and this will def help me expand my horizons. This is truly a beautiful set.
This makes me SO HAPPY! I'm so glad you shared with me and appreciate you! Definately try this one, it is a more time consuming piece and process but especially the way this wears is HEAVEN! I hope you have a great day!
Hello Amy, what a fun tutorial. I actually made a bracelet following your steps while I watched the video. I realize I need a lot of practice on the bail making pliers! BTW, I have the Beadalon brand pliers and they do not have the lip you say yours have. Thank you so much for this!
Adriana, perfect on the pliers!! I ordered Beadalon and they will arrive today. My work will be so much more efficient now!!! Using the pliers overall does take some practice. What I did was cut a few pieces of wire and just looped. I looped and looped and looped!! lol I appreciate your comment and support so much!
YAY!!! Thank you so much! I'm a big fan and these links..ahh... they feel so good when you wear them, too! Truly I love these so much! I appreciate your support, my friend! 🙌🏼🥰
Thank you, Roxann! You are right. I could have added it so you all could have seen what that would look like. I hadn't thought about that and appreciate your feedback. Will no question keep that in mind for the future! 🙌🏼
Amy you can always sand down that area of your tools and take that lip off. Many Metalsmiths like myself have manipulated our tools. I have taken my tools and polished them down and taken nicks out so not to scratch my wires
Yep, have had my husband file it and sand it but still that little lip. I went ahead and ordered a Beadalon 6 step thankfully! It’ll be here today! Yay!!! Thank you SO much for your tip! Give me any you think of along the way, love it and I appreciate your support so much!!🙌🏼🙌🏼
My pliers are smooth at the top. If you remember where you bought them, I’d call and explain. I’m sure they’d exchange them. That sounds like a manufacturing error. The company should reimburse the company. Very beautiful. 😹😹😹 I think we all have those beads we hoard. 😹😹😹Thank you. 💝🥰
Thank you so much, Susan! I’m so glad I asked on this because my pliers are not okay…. I ordered some Beadalon pliers and they will be here today! Yay!!!! I think my work will be so much easier and therefore the processes I’m showing will be more efficient! Can’t wait!!! Thank you so much for your comment, feedback on this!! Appreciate you, my friend!!! 💯🙌🏼❤️
This is so beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing! I was thinking you could maybe file the lips down on your pliers with a small metal file. I hope that works for you!!
Yes, good thinking because my husband did file it several times and still there is a hint of a lip but not bad. I did get a new pair from Beadalon and LOVE them!!! Thank you for your tip!! 🙌🏼❤️🙌🏼❤️🙌🏼
Yes, Renee!! First, thank you SO much for your feedback on this. I did order and very recently received my Beadalon pliers. No lip and they are awesome!!
Hi Amy! I just recently found your channel and became a subscriber and I'm so glad I did! I really love your calm, gentle guidance through your videos! Your creations are amazing and you make it look so easy! I was just looking at my 6 step pliers and the ones I have do NOT have a lip on them as you were discussing. Mine came in a cheap tool kit from Amazon. I can find the link if you'd like. But could you take a little sandpaper to yours and smooth out that lip? Might be worth a try. 🙂 Thank you for sharing your wonderful videos with the world! So amazing!💛
Oh you have just made my day!!! I’m so happy you are here and appreciate your sweet comment!! On the bail making pliers, I just ordered the Beadalon brand as a couple friends here suggested as there isn’t a lip on theirs either. Can’t wait for the ease of that! I’m so happy to share my work with you and am thrilled that you like what I’m doing! I hope your day is awesome! 🙌🏼❤️🌸
@@CampbellCreations-ByAmy , oh that is great that you have some on order! yay! Let us know how they work out for you! ☺ Have a wonderful rest of your week! 💛
I have the same brand bail pliers. The smaller side does have a bit of a lip, but the other does not. I never thought of it until you mentioned it. I thought it was just me 😂 Maybe we could give it a little filing.
My husband had filed mine but I still struggle with it. A couple others said they use the Beadalon 6 step and it does not have a lip on it. I ordered mine and it should be here tomorrow. Cannot wait! Worth the $15 no question! 🙌🏼
@@CampbellCreations-ByAmy I'll be interested to hear your opinion of them. I love watching Samantha, too. I did a hammered infinity link necklace for my mom I learned from her and I definitely need to do more!
Amy, I love the safety pins loops. The necklace and earrings are so beautiful. I am going to rewatch you and try making a bracelet before trying the necklace and thanks for sharing the part about making jump rings. Amy, where did you purchase your flat cutters?💖
Thank you so much, Dorothy!! I ordered a new pair of 6 step too that will arrive today, Beadalon brand to make my processes easier. I shouldn’t have that lip on the top and it is slowing me down. lol I’m SO happy you love this. I had planned on a bracelet with this. It was AS I was starting to record that I decided on a necklace. Flush cutters. I get the 5 pack from Amazon. Affiliate link of mine here: amzn.to/3Wkvinm Thank you SO much for your comment and support!! 🙌🏼❤️🥰
Currently, I sell only at craft shows. And there even, it depends on the show, the flow of people. The fall time craft shows are the BEST though, I'd look into that. Sending you lots of positive vibes!
That will be happening, Cynthia but I have some things in the works first. 🤗 That will be a super fun video! My space isn’t elaborate but it does good for me. ❤️🙌🏼❤️
Thank you. I bought the same 6 step pliers you did and yes, they had the lip on both ends. I did return item on Amazon and bought the other ones you got without the lip, will be glad to get them, also just bought the nylon jaw pliers, I too have made jewelry for a long time without them. I love my two sizes of the one step looper that I got a few years ago. Thanks again for all your hard work.
My 6 step pliers do not have that little lip at the ends. That would drive me crazy. I already have a hard time getting the wire off when I make jump rings.😊
Thankfully, I bought a new pair of the 6 step pliers! It was making me crazy! I bought Beadalon brand and they are wonderful!! Thank you so much for your comment! ❤️🙌🏼❤️🙌🏼
Hi. I just found your channel & before I go any further two things: my 6-step bail makers do NOT have a "lip" that catches the wire. Second, contact the manufacturer to see if it is part of the design or a flaw. Have them replace them if they are, in fact, flawed. They will not want to give any negative comment or review. I'm going to watch the rest of your video now.
You are awesome, Vickie! I just recently got a pair of Beadalon pliers and they are amazing! Thank you SO much for your feedback on this! I appreciate you! 🙌🏼🌸
lol! I sure hope I don’t break one but honestly, I have before. 😂😂 if I did break one, I would not edit it out. It’s important to know when I mess up, we all do sometimes! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
