Thank you for the tutorial, Jay! Your snowflake is lovely. I've made three over the years, and plan to make another this weekend! This is my favorite beading pattern. 🙂
Took me a bit over 2 hours but I did it and am so happy with myself! Great tutorial. Only improvements have already been mentioned- indicating how many of each bead needed and name the beads as they are strung. Well done!
For those who were confused about bead quantities: each phone charm takes 12 of the 4mm bicones, 6 of the 6mm bicones, and 6 of the 4mm rounds. Double those quantities to make a pair of earrings. Can anyone tell me when you use seed bead A and seed bead B? I cannot tell a difference in the video or when I pause it to look at the diagram. Also, what size are the seed beads A & B? They don't sell seed beads in the US as 2mm. They are size 15/0, 11/0, 8/0, 6/0, etc. This project looks good and I like this method of tutorial., I just wish there was a little more information given on the materials.
WOW ! I have to say that is the easiest to understand beading tutorial I have ever, EVER, witnessed ! There were no shots off camera, hands in the way, pointing to a confusing area, just simple and beautiful instructions on how to make a beaded Snowflake... Thank you so much. I subscribed and hope that I will see many more videos from you on beading like this one. Kudos to you and your computer skills and beading skills and thanks again.
