Thank you for helping me get the hang of doing the wildfire bit! I originally thought that you had to cut strings and double knot each end to that metal piece- It took me almost 2 hours to get 4 strings on (I have long nails so it was hard.) Also I can hear your camera adjusting and thought I'd point that out. It's quite funny so i'm not complaining! 😂
Hi Amber V.! You can find Wildfire at most major craft stores! You can also try checking online for various shops carrying it. It was great hearing from you! Beadalon
Hi Leslie! i am so excited - today I received my loom! I just discovered you and your how to videos - so thank you for sharing your awesome skills! My question (as a beginner), does it matter what type of thread is used to 'warp' ? and can the same thread be used to weave? Thank you! :)
Hey, I dunno if this is still relevant for you, but you can pick up fireline, an equivalent thread that many in the beading world swear by, at your local sporting goods store. It’s sold as fishing line, and you can get it much cheaper there. Just be sure the size is right!
Question: I have a much wider loom, about three times the width of this. I'm pulling out my hair trying to get it warped for a large project. Any ideas for getting it warped all the way across without the warp threads I've already done coming out of the coiled spring?
Im writing and drawing a book on a - d.i.y. build a loom for beading. Im about halfway. Would you think it would be ok to share your RU-vid video links in the back of the book ? It would boost your views, and help with learning this wonderful art craft.
